24.01.2022 Wakefield Street, September 30th, 1892 (not approx) ..at the opening of the new Metropolitan Fire Brigade Station a crowd watches as the Fire Brigade appliance ...teams demonstrate their fast response to the alarm bell. The beautiful horses are literally 'raring to go' to work. The South Australian Metropolitan Fire Brigade was established in 1862.
