12.01.2022 Rexi had a bit of a jump at Echunga yesterday leading into State Champs. Sadly my 5yo camera lady didn’t really get much footage (who would have thought with her usual camera skills?!) but here’s some trot work that you can see He’s looking a million dollars and was jumping out of his skin... can’t wait to be out at Wirrina in a few weeks!

09.01.2022 Little Holly has just arrived home from being started by Rachelle Verma - and her first ride back at home. Holly is by Eurosport Heartbreaker out of EV Cassia (now owned by Demi Ryan) who is a Carpino Z x TB. Holly seems destined for the Eventing circuit - super sweet and very calm! 08.01.2022 Nothing like having a cute black(ish) pony in the stables Dolcetta (aka Dafne) having her first ride at home after being started by Rachelle Verma. Rachelle as usual, has done an excellent job with Daf. Daf is by Dr Love van Overis Z (Darco/Chellano Z) out of EV Garnetta (Belcam Gambler/Ludendorff) who is the dam of big impressive Gwennie - EV Casablanca A second ride under saddle today and she’s flying! 07.01.2022 Pats for the best redhead for getting me through our first dressage test in 22 years... and a little bit of a laugh with the judge who clearly knew we were showjumpers and saw the relief on my face Massive thanks to Kirsty Van Loon for prepping us for this momentous occasion and of course the ever supportive and encouraging Craig who watched on from the sidelines despite being flat out with committee duties & course building at Wirrina. 06.01.2022 *SOLD!* Less competitions means more time for the young ones! AHEC D’Acier (aka Daisy) is looking like an incredibly promising juniors mount for the future. Daisy is a 2.5yr old grey mare by the very impressive Dr Love van Overis Z (Darco/Chellano Z), out of Silhouette (Brannigans Pride x TB). Daisy will mature 16hh.... Daisy has been well handled by large groups of teenagers since birth, being part of a former school breeding program. She is very friendly, personable and very willing. Silhouette consistently throws horses with excellent temperament and rideability, with great natures, trainability and composure. Daisy is no exception with a nearly bombproof attitude forming already. Daisy will undoubtedly suit an all-rounder, pony club or jumping mount for the future. She has free-jumped showing braveness for jumping, but second to none Daisy also LOVES being loved. Priced very competitively prior to being started under saddle, price will rise accordingly. 05.01.2022 Daisy has a new home! We have all been floored at the calm and brave nature of this little mare, who walked straight on the float (blanket friend may have helped a little), and then straight into the stables the next day to have a saddle checked for fit! A small testament to the hours of handling these horses receive here as youngsters prior to starting under saddle. Congrats to her new owner - we can’t wait to see your journey unfold together!

03.01.2022 Rexi bringing home some silver (or red) today at State Championships! 110cm with only two clear rounds, just a tad slow behind Kristy but great double clear. 120cm in a good solid course and yet again a little sloooooowwww for second. Definitely need to work on the corners and add a little more speed before the New Years season. Very lucky to be able to ride Rexi ... Video of the 120cm jump off.
