23.01.2022 Leaving the sights of the city in their rear-view mirror, South Australian vloggers Cam, Rosa and Charles packed their bags, jumped in the car and set their GPS coordinates for the #instaworthy Adelaide Hills.

21.01.2022 Autumn must surely be the perfect time to visit the Adelaide Hills. The autumnal colours of the leaves against the cloudless sky create a kaleidoscope backdrop as we zigzag up Greenhill Rd to Piccadilly Valley.

19.01.2022 How about this for a recruitment technique: look after a chef's dog while he travels overseas, then hold the dog hostage until the chef agrees to cook in your restaurant. It worked for The Summertown Aristologist's Aaron Fenwick, who has successfully recruited chef David Moyle to lead the Adelaide Hills restaurant for an eight-week stint later this year.

15.01.2022 Kangarilla - This purpose-built timber-frame shed in Kangarilla could be your mate’s back porch. But venture inside and you’ll find a state-of-the-art coffee-roasting operation that’s turning out some of the best ethically traded coffee in the country. Dawn Patrol Coffee is a collaboration between former SAD Cafe owner Dom Ossa and barista Nick Suggit. Hahndorf - Coffee-tasting is gaining traction. Just ask Kostas Trakas. He modelled his Hahndorf cafe Caffiend on the cellar doors dotted about the surrounding Adelaide Hills wine region. How? One of its signature offerings is a coffee-tasting board showcasing the current single origin, served three ways: espresso, milk coffee and manual brew.

12.01.2022 After hanging up their hats at the central market and moving operations to Roxie’s garden bar earlier this year, Comida Catering Co. is now gearing up for an exciting endeavour in the Adelaide Hills.

10.01.2022 When asked which regions best match different food and beverage products, Adelaide Hills emerged as our gourmet leader, followed by Adelaide and the Barossa.

09.01.2022 Australia’s annual Top Restaurant Awards chosen by top chefs were presented at the Art Gallery of NSW. Summertown Aristologist in the Adelaide Hills made the list.

06.01.2022 "Before launching another attempt at breadmaking, I’ve sought expert advice from two local sourdough stars. Reid is a breadmaking hobbyist (and part of the team at Adelaide Hills winery Commune of Buttons and barista at Sibling and Monday’s Coffee) whose perfectly-crusty-outside, chewy-inside loaves are the highlight of every picnic here in the Adelaide Hills. Also, Emily Salkeld of Small World Bakery in Langhorne Creek, one of the few commercial bakeries that grows and mills its own grains."

02.01.2022 There was a time when if you mentioned Woodside, I’d immediately think of the Australian Army base. But now I know there’s a lot more to this sleepy little town, nestled between Balhannah and Lobethal, 37km from the CBD.

02.01.2022 For the next three months, celebchef Curtis Stone has gone all "South Aussie" at his restaurant, Maude, in exclusive Beverly Hills, California. Planned before our bushfires, Stone has announced he is donating 100 per cent of his profits to Drought Angels, a non-profit that gives aid to Australian farmers who have been affected. To bring the menu together Stone, his executive chef Chris Flint and other staff members from Maude, went searching for taste sensations in the Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley and they found plenty.

01.01.2022 Woodside Cheese Wrights' new luxury cheese, encrusted with South Australian river mint, is set to make its official debut at the Summer Fancy Food Show this month in New York. The company was awarded Super Gold at the World Cheese Awards in 2016 for their Anthill cheese, a soft goat cheese (chevre) topped with green ants sourced from the Top End of Australia.

01.01.2022 Word about our vegetables kind of leaked out. We’d give a few boxes of surplus food to restaurants that bought our wine, as an added extra, and the chefs went nuts about the flavour and freshness, said Ngeringa's Erinn Klein. Everyone wanted more, but we just couldn’t provide. Andy Taylor's energy and focus on the gardening has made expansion possible.
