23.01.2022 "Which football parent are you?" STEPHANIE Woken up by fully kitted up and ready to play child. Might try to catch a few more Z's before kick off. Once fell asleep in the car during a game and it's now it's a family joke. BARRY Brings a pair of boots to child's U12 game in the hope that someone doesn't turn up and the coach is in desperate enough need to call on anyone to fill in the position. Clearly not U12 because of an unkempt salt and pepper beard, but still likes to... throw the boots on board anyway. PHIL Puts hand up to run the lines after purchasing his own flag for flag waving practice at home. Thinks he is running the lines at the World Cup. Knows all the rules but once got a stare down from some irate opposition parents after being caught coaching from the sideline. ANDREA Gets unusually excited about a late game played away. Everyone joins the dots on the way home when she turns into the driveway of her favourite winery and clears some room in the boot. LEE Helps out at the club by marking up the lines. Checks in on the weather patterns every five minutes even though he knows it's not going to rain. Loves to point out to random people how straight the lines are and is quick to stop people from scuffing his handiwork. KATE Works the canteen like she's competing in MasterChef. Often stays in there well into the next game on the off chance Gordon Ramsey or Jamie Oliver is going to turn up and spots her as talented enough to have her own TV show.

02.01.2022 "Feelin' hot, hot, hot!" Quick reminder to all players, coaches and clubs, that there is an Extreme Weather Policy available on the FSA website. Make sure you familiarise yourself with it. In short (and in relation to our age groups training on natural turf), if it's 36C or higher there is no training. If it's 32C to 35C you can train, but it needs to be after 6pm.... Note that this is the actual ambient temperature at the time, not the forecasted temperature. Make sense? Read the policy. https://www.footballsa.com.au//Extreme%20Weather%20Policy%
