If we are to remain open we ask everyone to follow these few simple steps On arrival use the QR code to check in. ... Please ensure you are wearing a mask. Please adhere to 4 people in the waiting room only. Only one person to accompany your pet into the consult room (euthanasia an exception) If you are feeling unwell or showing any concerning symptoms please reschedule routine appointments OR if in the case of an unwell animal or emergency let reception staff know over the phone if we need to put extra protective measures in place. 22.01.2022 Introducing our nursing staff Let’s meet Nikki Nikki grew up on Kangaroo Island. She worked at the KI vets for 3 years and that’s where she studied her nursing. Nikki moved over in January and has been working with us since. ... She has a great passion for helping animal of all sizes but in particular loves working with horses and learning more about our reproduction side. In her spare time you will find Nikki out and about with one of her 5 horses training or competing.

20.01.2022 This little lamb didn’t have an easy start to life being 1 of three but after a day with us and some critical care we have her up and drinking like a champ! She’s now off home to spend the night inside with her family We also got the privilege of naming her so meet Amy-Mae the little Babydoll Southdown

19.01.2022 Grass seed season is upon us. We just pulled this out of a doggy’s nose. Be sure to check your pets daily, especially between their toes. If you suspect your pet has a grass seed in their ears or nose give us a call straight away so we can get it out before it burrows in too deep.

19.01.2022 Introducing our nursing staff First up we have Sam Sam grew up on a cattle farm in the south east before moving to the Adelaide Hills in 2007. She has always had a passion for all creatures great & small therefore she decided to study veterinary nursing graduating in 2010. ... Sam Currently resides locally on a 28acre property with her husband & 2 children where together they have 2 dogs, a cat, a parrot, chickens & cattle. Sam has been a part of our fantastic team since 2017 & currently works 2 days a week. She thrives on making our patients feel as comfortable as possible whilst in our care & treats them as she would her own animals.

Our team at Woodside wants to make life as easy for you and your fur family as possible. So we have changed our summer time trading hours to give you more time to come and see us. Our summertime trading hours will begin from Monday the 2nd of November 2020. As of Wednesday the 21st of July until Wednesday the 28th of July, the clinic will open from 9am until 4pm (Weekdays) and 9-1 (Saturday) for essential services only. ... 02.01.2022 Introducing our nursing staff Next up we have Mikayla Mikayla is one of our full time nurses. She has been working here at AHVS for 2.5 years and loves the variety of species she gets to see each day. Her favourite part of the job is assisting the vets with surgical procedures, in particular cesarean sections. She loves forming connections with both clients and their pets and strives to provide the best care possible for your furry babies. ... Mikayla is known to be a sucker for a stray kitten (or two!!) having fostered some strays brought into the clinic over the years. She has three spoilt pets of her own, two ‘failed’ foster cats and a toy poodle. In her spare time she enjoys keeping active with a passion for athletics and sprinting.
