As part of their ‘Our Housing Future 2020-2030’ Program, SA Housing Authority is delivering up to 1,000 employment and training outcomes for social housing tenants and peo...ple on the housing register. Up to 278 Apprenticeships are available to a wide range of people aged 16 years and older, including: Social and Community Housing Tenants and people waiting for housing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples people living with a disability women This was a great opportunity to meet the five partner Group Training Organisations (GTOs). Each of the five GTOs involved will employ apprentices and place them with host employers (builders and contractors), where they will undertake their on-the-job training and experience. The GTOs will also provide additional services related to the program including recruitment, pastoral care and support, personal protective equipment and pre-employment training.
