25.01.2022 ** COVID restriction update 18 November 2020 ** To bridal couples Following the Premier’s announcement today regarding a ‘pause’ in community activity across SA for the next 6 days (with reduced activity planned for another 8 days to follow), we can advise that the following changes will take place across our business effective immediately:... - our venues and catering are now closed - all wedding taking place between now and next Tuesday 24 November must be cancelled. These changes will apply to our venues, weddings and catering up to and including Tuesday 24 November 2020. When we know more about the restrictions to be implemented following this date, we will provide a further update. Despite this incredible situation, we will cross this bridge again. Our amazing team is already working through each affected wedding and event. As you can imagine this will require time and hard work, so we ask for your patience and understanding as we work through our calendar of impacted weddings one day at a time. We will continue to work online from home. We will be in touch with all impacted couples ASAP. Please be patient, please understand that we don’t know any more than you and please check your phone and email for our updates. Thanks as always for your patience and support. 23.01.2022 With a sparkling blue sky overhead, Matthew and Jane's guests gathered for their wedding on the sweeping lawns at Glanville Hall. This was a celebration all about family, with children laughing and playing in the gardens as Matthew and his groomsmen waited patiently in front of the beautiful bay window. Jane was a vision in chiffon and lace as she floated down the aisle escorted by her proud parents. The happy couple only had eyes for each other as they shared their vows, e...xchanged rings and sealed their promises with a kiss. Then it was truly time for fun, with a relaxed reception on the most perfect summer evening - complete with fairy lights, pizzas and our white wedding bouncy castle! 22.01.2022 Like a scene from a fairytale, Shalini and Steve walked arm in arm down the winding pathway from Utopia @ Waterfall Gully to their excited guests in the garden below. The bride and groom crossed the little bridge and stood beneath the white floral arch, where they exchanged beautiful, personal vows and pledged their commitment to one another. With readings from cherished family and friends, the love and emotion was absolutely buzzing in the air...which had us all reaching for... our tissues! After capturing their beautiful day with photos around the gully, the new Mr and Mrs then joined their guests for a leisurely lunch reception upstairs in the heritage Utopia chalet. 19.01.2022 "We had the best time on our wedding day. The entire event was just perfect. We honestly cannot thank you enough for organising our wedding to be outside...I appreciate the lengths you went to make it happen, you made my day! There ere lots of compliments for the food and the cake. It was all so delicious and I enjoyed eating the top layered cake after the wedding (it didn't last long). The cake looked absolutely beautiful and fit the theme!!... Every supplier was amazing! There's a few suppliers that are behind the scenes like the chefs etc, please pass on our thanks to them as well as the owners of Utopia @ Waterfall Gully. Victoria Edwards - Adelaide Marriage Celebrant was amazing through the whole process, and Tash from Teahouse Studios was awesome too. We felt so comfortable with her and she made sure she captured things that were important to us. Most of all, we appreciate everything YOU did for us Melissa. You kept in contact with us through the whole process and you helped us make decisions - as well as being more than happy to make changes for us. Not to mention you knew how important it was to me for the wedding to be outside, and you did what you could to have it there. I'm over the moon that it was outside. As the groom looked on with beaming smile, their gorgeous daughter Imogen led her mum over the bridge as flower girl, followed by the beautiful bride and her incredibly proud dad. After joining hands the couple shared their very own vows - which were included a perfect combination of romantic, thoughtful and... cheeky words to perfectly reflect Kate and Andrew's love for one another. 07.01.2022 ** COVID update! ** After the incredible announcement just made by the Premier and SAPOL, we are incredibly happy and relieved that we be able to return to some sort of normal operation much earlier than expected. Unfortunately we will remain CLOSED for the remainder of this week, as our venues are simply unable to organise food deliveries and have a full menu prepared between midnight Saturday and opening on Sunday. ... However from next week our weddings will kick off again as per the one per 4m2 capacity restrictions introduced early this week, and from the 1st of December we will return to almost normality! This is amazing news for our bridal couples booked from next week onwards. Our wonderful team will be in touch ASAP to continue your planning. However despite this, we are still heartbroken for the couples impacted this week. We will be doing everything we can to get these special days back on track and better than ever, as soon as we can. The lush Mount Lofty Ranges Vineyard was a spectacular venue, with the groom standing proud and tall beside the towering gum tree to await his beautiful bride. Eleanor floated down the lawns in a cloud of chiffon to join him, where they joined hands and exchanged heartfelt, beautiful vows. Nanna and mum also shared lovely personal reflections of life as the certificates ...were signed - then it was time for kisses, applause and a night of wonderful celebration! 05.01.2022 ** COVID restriction update! ** After spending many hours (and a few bottles of wine) analysing, checking and seeking advice on the temporary COVID restrictions announced yesterday, we can advise that the following significant changes will take place for our weddings immediately: - the capacity of EVERY venue (including licensed, hired and private) has been reduced to one guest per 4m2, or one quarter of normal capacity... - all gatherings at homes are strictly limited to a maximum of 10 - weddings at licensed and hired venues remain capped at 150 guests, but are now subject to the one per 4m2 guest density requirement - all events will be limited to ten guests per table (so for larger events, guests must now be spread across multiple tables) - all weddings must complete a detailed, SA Health online contact tracing record prior to their event, including details of EVERY attending guest. This list will be checked again at the door - guests must remain seated at all times to eat and drink - dancing at events is prohibited. These changes will apply for the next TWO WEEKS (inclusive of Sunday 29 November). Our amazing team is already working through each affected booking, and your coordinator will be in touch ASAP if you are impacted, or if any changes are required. So please check your inbox! The groom shed tears of joy as his princess bride walked towards him along the pebbled pathway. With their nearest and dearest (and a few cheeky geckos!) watching on, the couple shared special vows and gorgeous rings presented by their adorable nephew. With the whisper of the waterfall as the perfect so...undtrack, promises were sealed with a kiss and the happy couple headed up to the Utopia chalet for an indulgent lunch to celebrate their perfect day.
