23.01.2022 Only 2 spaces remaining! I have taken heavy interest about the TEN BY THREE classes, and I think you're going to really enjoy them. It will be the A-Z's of that you need to know to create with timber. Our introduction to woodwork class provides a longer term opportunity to learn essential techniques and build on exisiting and new skills learned. Over a 10 week block of 3 hour classes, you will learn the basics of what is required to construct a piece of furniture, and then ha...ve the opportunity to move to an open class where you can work on a project of your own. You will learn to become familiar with what is required to take a lifeless board of timber and with preparation, joinery and finishing skills developed throughout the course, turn it into a functional, timeless object. So I will be launching 10X3 Class #1 Which is exciting for all of us, and something i've been working towards for the last 12 months. Each class will have 4 participants, so if you want to be in that first group, you'll need to get in quick. Session times for class #1 will be Thursday's 6pm-9pm Weekly Participants of class 1 Please be aware that there will be interruption to your schedule during the Christmas break as well as when we move to our new location (Location & Date TBA) we may skip a week or two here or there. To compensate for me getting these first few sessions going in this new format and for any interruptions, i'll be offering class 1 participants a discounted rate of $90 per session instead of what will be the regular rate of $99 per session. Cost: Each session is $99.00 and it is expected that you will attend all 10 sessions. You do not have to pay for all ten sessions at once, but instead pay at each session you attend. Payment for the first session is required prior to your starting date. It looks like we can get class 1 started on Dec 17th, have a break for Christmas- then resume after that. Please note that to attend our Ten By Three class you MUST be over the age of 18.

18.01.2022 Just launched! A 3 part wooden picture framing workshop, running from Monday November 23rd! Lots of valuable techniques to get hands on with, from making rebates to cutting mitres, or exploring adding splines to reinforce the mitre join for strength. ... At the end of the course you’ll have a beautifully crafted, solid timber frame - made by you! Each session runs for 2 hours from 6.15pm and you attend all 3 sessions. Details via our website. 17.01.2022 For some, hanging a picture can seem confronting - but how about building a wooden picture frame from scratch? Why not learn how to tackle both! New picture framing workshop launching shortly Who will be the lucky one in your frame??

16.01.2022 Adding some finish to the carcass of our new tool cabinets. The carcass for these were build using only off cuts, and you’ll find a few different species amongst each one. All glued together, then re-machined to create usable pieces. Reducing wastage and adding some interesting detail!

15.01.2022 In light of the new restrictions here in South Australia, we’ll be temporarily closing and reopening as soon as its safe to do so. Apologies to those booked for classes over the weekend. Obviously these will be postponed to a later date. Please note that no orders placed on our website will be processed or dispatched until it is safe to return.... 14.01.2022 Had a great day hosting two come & try woodwork classes, both classes did a great job, no two boards are ever the same. And typical me forgot to take any pics of class #2’s boards. Now time to relax.
