Do we have a treat for you divine peeps.... we're mixing things up a bit this weekend with plenty of options so you can choose what suits you...have a sus... Saturday morning: 8.30-1pm 2 x Hobart Dive Trip $145... Saturday Arvo: 4.30-8pm Dive trip with 1 x Hobart Dive 1 x Night Dive at Rapid Bay $149 Sunday: 8.30am Three dive trip - 2 x Hobart dives and 1 x Rapid Head $195 Pre-requisites for this awesome adventure: Advanced Open Water certification; 2 x torches (for the night dive); SMB. Ex-HMAS Hobart After 35 years of Royal Australian Navy Service the 133m long missile destroyer was decommissioned. In 2000 the vessel was gifted to the State by the Federal Department of Defence to become an artificial reef and world class dive location. Explosives were used to cut holes in the exterior and the windows were removed. When the ship was sunk it went down and settled upright on the ocean floor in 30m. Full of blue devils, a resident Wobbegong and a vast array of other marine species. Tag your dive buddy! Who's coming with us? It'll be a hoot!
