21.01.2022 **LAST VOLLEYBALL FOR 2019 - TOMORROW NIGHT (THURS 28/11)** Hi Adelaide Spikers! The time has come for a little break over the Xmas/NY period. This Thursday 28th Nov is the final night of Spikers Volleyball for 2019 at Thebarton Senior College. ... The gymnasium is closed for a few weeks during school holidays as they refurbish the gym floor ready for a new year of sport, including Spikers Volleyball. We will return in early February 2020, ready and raring for another year. Thanks to everyone who has come along and contributed to the fun, social environment over the last year. 20.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT - RETURN TO VOLLEYBALL Dear Adelaide Spikers members and friends. The Committee wishes to advise that arrangements are in place for volleyball to resume at Thebarton Senior College from Thursday 10 September. There will be some mandatory protocols for use of the gym that have been set by the school which include provision of names and contact details for all attendees, and others which the Committee require as part of our own return to volleyball plan. 13.01.2022 Hi Spikers. The Committee hope youre all well and getting through lockdown OK. As you would have seen on the News there are some outdoor sports that are getting back into it. As a sport played indoors we are facing some additional restrictions and waiting on additional advice to be COVID safe (compliant) before we are able to start playing Volleyball again. 05.01.2022 Another fantastic Adelaide Spikers tournament ends for another year. Over 180 players attended the day at Mt Lofty and ended the night with a great presentation dinner at the Franklin Boutique Hotel in the city. 04.01.2022 Hi Spikers! Hope you are all keeping warm in this wintry weather and going okay through the COVID-19 restrictions. Unfortunately we cannot confirm a date yet for returning to Thursday night volleyball at Thebarton , but we are keenly watching Government guidelines as restrictions begin to ease for indoor activities for larger groups. ... As we often have over 20 people attending, it may be a few more weeks at least until a start date is possible. 04.01.2022 Hi Spikers, Hope youve all been well. Just a little update - we are getting closer to returning to Thursday night volleyball at Thebarton Senior College (TSC)... We are working closely with TSC and Volleyball SA to confirm a return date soon (hopefully early in August) and also the conditions and regulations under which we and other indoor sporting clubs will be operating in the age of COVID-19.
