20.01.2022 Entering the second phase of our 2019 tour Slovenia leg, to play Triglav Serie A. Beautiful picturesque country, with lots of green and tall mountains.

20.01.2022 After 6 games in 13 days in two countries, including playing matches vs Serie A professional clubs youth teams. Multiple training sessions with professional qualified coaches and many exiting activities. We close our amazing 2019 Italy Tour with a final game Adelaide Stars ( Australia ) vs Triglav Youth NYL ( Slovenia 1st Division serie A ). It was an honour to play vs Triglav. In front of a picturesque backdrop of green mountains and a perfect synthetic grass pitch. A very ...skilful and organised team made of extremely good, natural gifted and very experienced young players, too strong for our boys. Final score 7-1. Score line aside there is no doubt that this last game was an amazing positive experience for all our boys. We thank you Triglav Youth team and their coach Darijan. Also a big thank you to the TD and club scout, our dear friend Mr. Spendi Idrizi. Hope to see you all again soon. Wrapping up our 2019 amazing tour. It proved to be another excellent successful camp/tour, where the boys have experienced the technical and tactical quality of Italian and European youth football we dont often see in our local Australian Youth leagues. Also living a day to day routine of disciplined supervision and being able to deliver high quality performance under extreme fatigue, provides high quality and great development for our academy boys. A big thank you to our affiliated partner Real Vicenza and Davide Sannazzaro, for the great experience. Well done Adelaide Stars 2019 Team.

19.01.2022 This is Alphonso Davies 19 year old. He was born in a refugee camp in Gomoa East District, Ghana. Alphonso first played in an after school soccer league an organisation for young players that cant afford registration fees. From there to the USL, than the big jump to sign a professional contract in Europe, playing in the Bundesliga. Today just under 19 year Alphonso is regarded as one of the best young fullbacks in world football. The moral of this story is never to give up on your dreams.. Resilience should be your motto.

10.01.2022 Adelaide Stars Football Academy and AC Este have today announced a new partnership aimed at giving local players a genuine realistic and unique opportunity and pathway to become a professional footballer. Alternatively opportunity for players and coaches to gain international experience and knowledge, of the game they love to play. The International partnership will see Adelaide Star Football Academy become a part of AC Este, a proud 100 year old top tier club of Italian Serie D. As part of the initiative, players and coaches will also benefit through full access to our Italian based football club curriculum and will have the opportunity to visit the clubs training grounds to experience the professional soccer coaching first-hand.

05.01.2022 Our coaching philosophy. I believe there are two very important factors: One is our social skills, the other is football knowledge. If these stay in balance, players understand that a coach can teach them something technically. I always involve athletes in decision-making: although I have the last word, I don't want them following me like robots. They must have their own opinions and develop as a good decision maker, to advance in the sport their love to play.

02.01.2022 Some exciting news to come out of the Adelaide Stars 2019 Italy & Slovenia Football Tour / Camp in October with our goalkeeper, Dawson Bojani (2003), being scouted & offered the opportunity to join our affiliated club, (Slovenian PrvaLiga club) NK Triglav Kranj within their professional youth academy. Dawson will be moving to Slovenia in late January for the back end of the 2019/2020 European season in the hope of securing a longer term agreement for Season 2020/21. Its... an honour to collaborate with NK Triglav, as they have a very strong commitment to youth development and through their Head of Recruiting & Academy Scout, pendi Idrizi, have had great recent success with goalkeepers being selected for the national U17-21 teams of Slovenia & North Macedonia. This is a fantastic achievement by Dawson and an amazing opportunity to develop his craft within a professional top league European club. Anything is possible and it certainly helps to have the right people in your corner...and that is what Adelaide Stars International Football Academy is all about.
