24.01.2022 Message from the Honourable Jing Lee MLC Assistant Minister to the Premier Adelaide Tamil Association 2020 Deepavali Celebration Saturday 21st November 2020 On behalf of the Government of South Australia, I wish to extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to the Adelaide Tamil Association as you hold your annual Deepavali celebrations on Saturday 21st November 2020.... Deepavali, also known as Diwali or the Festival of Lights, celebrates the symbolic victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil. 2020 has been a challenging year for us all and this heart-warming message of hope and triumph is more important than ever during this time. While the COVID-19 pandemic has changed how we interact with each other and hold events, we continue to value and celebrate our important traditions in new ways. I wish to congratulate President Joseph Xavier and the hard-working committee and volunteers of the Adelaide Tamil Association for the dedication and creativity you have shown in holding this year’s event in a COVID Safe way. The Government of South Australia is proud to support this year’s Deepavali celebration. This auspicious festival is celebrated by millions of people around the world and is one of the many cultural highlights that is now generously shared and embraced by the wider South Australian community. Thank you to everyone in the Tamil community for your contributions to enriching our multicultural state and for your ongoing generosity and dedication to serving our community. May the light of millions of lamps brighten your lives and bring you and your loved ones endless joy, prosperity and good health. Happy Deepavali! The Honourable Jing Lee MLC Assistant Minister to the Premier Member of the Legislative Council of the South Australian Parliament

24.01.2022 Happy Deepavali! May this festival of lights bring you all an abundance of happiness, prosperity and good fortune. 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone but as we gradually transition to a new CovidSafe ‘normal’, I’m so glad your community can come together and rejoice at this special time, celebrating the victory of good over evil. 24.01.2022 Sponsor recognition : As we all know Adelaide Tamil Association is hosting three events annually viz Deepavali, Pongal and Sangamam, out of which Pongal is a free event with south Indian breakfast served to all attendees. Deepavali and Sangamam are ticketed events to members and non-members at nominal price which is much lower than operating cost.... This year we have secured significant sponsorship agreement with Ingle Family Dental as Platinum sponsor for the various activities of Adelaide Tamil Association. We thank our sponsors for their generosity, in the same way we expect our patrons to reciprocate the same to them. Ingle Family Dental
