They continue to display a lot of improvement. The First Team put on another dominating performance, beating Vipers 6-1. They pushed the ball around well and secured an important win. 23.01.2022 ROUND 3 RESULTS: It was a strong win by the First Team as they scored 2 goals after being 1-0 down in the first half. The boys showed great fight, determination and effort to resist Unley who came with an attacking style of Football. The reserves moved the ball around well but weren't the better side on the day. A few injuries set the boys back and a late consolation goal by M. Hassan wasn't enough to get the win. ... We look forward to Mt. Barker away next week and are hungry for the points! #ThunderUp

22.01.2022 ROUND 4 RESULTS: The boys in blue and white didn't disappoint and traveled back from Mt. Barker with the 3 points. Could have converted more chances so it will be back to the training grounds to tidy up on the sloppy mistakes. The Reserves also managed to secure their first win for the season securing a 3-0 win. 18.01.2022 Round 7 Results Both teams were victorious over Pulteney on the weekend and boy....what a performance it was! The ressies went 2-0 up in the first half and maintained their lead throughout the whole game. They moved the ball around well and with such performances are continuing to creep up the ladder...... FIRST TEAM: After missing an opportunity early in the game, Pulteney scored to take the lead. Thunder replied with a cracker of a goal from outside the 18 yard box making it 1-1 at the half. With Pulteney down to 10 men, Thunder dominated the second half with the game ending at 4-1. The boys will be playing at split locations next week, First Team away to Pirates and Ressies away to Fulham. #Thunderup

They will have their sights on an important game vs Windsor this weekend. ... Despite having many players out, the First Team put up a big fight to hold onto a 4-4 draw. 12.01.2022 Round 10 Results: It was a good day for both teams over the weekend. A beautiful day for football and the results went our way. The Ressies performed strong, holding the lead for the whole game, moving the ball around well and putting the balls in the back of the net where they belong. ... The First Team got off to a slow start but picked up the pace in the second half to finish the game 3-1. The lads showed plenty of fight, guts and resilience even after they were down to 10 men due to a controversial red card in the last 20 minutes of the game. First team secured promotion and made a statement by finishing off the season undefeated! The boys are working hard and will march forward into the Semi's this Wednesday Night with their heads held high. ... 08.01.2022 The boys showed a lot of heart over the weekend in the bout against Immanuel. The reserves team played an attacking style of football in the second but fell short of the draw. It was a shared 3 goals by the brothers that allowed the boys walk off the pitch with their chins held high. The First team played their socks off and bonded very well. They were 1-0 down early and responded quickly with a banger of a freekick by Omar Hassan. There were ample chances in the second hal...f to secure the victory but they weren't put to good use. 04.01.2022 #FINALSRESULTS It was an unfortunate night for Thunder, after going down 4-3 on penalties to St. Pauls! The boys played well and managed to score first making it 1-0 about 10 minutes into the game. St. Pauls responded with a header to make it 1-1. There were a lot of missed opportunities in extra time and the game went down to penalties, and it just wasn't our day. But hey, that's football!... Having said that, we would like to thank all of our die hard supporters for coming out and supporting the club. Despite the results, the boys have their heads held high after finishing the season undefeated and as top of the table minor premiers. 03.01.2022 ROUND 9 Results: It was a much needed win for both teams over the weekend! The Reserves went up early in the game and secured a 2-0 lead at half time. After some pressing from North City in the second half they managed to fight their way back but Thunder was able to capitalize on a freekick for the game to come to a sudden end at 3-2.... The First Team were all class and put on a show of teamwork, pace, flair and skill. They rose to the occasion and defended top spot in emphatic style.
