23.01.2022 Hi Guys, hope you all had an awesome weekend! Just an FYI, after many long discussions with our Course Marking Team, it was decided the original courses were possibly too challenging in terms of course marking and the potential for runners to become lost and confused. C'mon, we've all been there, me included... Most of these changes only impact the Medium & Long Course. The Short course only had a very minor tweak towards the end which will be barely noticeable. The new cou...rses are now available on the ATR website. Thanks guys, keep the entries rolling in, you only have until Wednesday at 6:00pm. Weather is looking good too!! Cheers, Brett - ATR
23.01.2022 Hey Guys, we are assessing the new COVID-19 restrictions that come into place tonight. The new restrictions are only for 2 weeks and our first event at Anstey Hill is in 3 weeks. Fingers crossed we can still proceed with Anstey Hill on December 6th. We will keep you posted as soon as we learn more. Thanks for your understanding - Brett
19.01.2022 For all those playing along at home, the courses for Race #1 at Anstey Hill on December 6th are now finalized and I promise to not tinker with them again. Maybe. Had to include the Wednesday Loop as it is too nice to leave out. They can be found on the ATR website. Only 17 days to go! 17.01.2022 Great to see the entries for race #1 continue to trickle in. On-line entries will close at 6:00pm next Wednesday December 2nd. After this time, we will not be able to accept any on-line entries. We will allow entries on race day with a $10 admin fee to apply. Things are looking good that we can safely hold our first event!
16.01.2022 Hi Guys, we had previously sent out an email to all those that had registered on 17/11. It appears that not everyone has received this email. Can you please check your junk mail and add us to your contacts if required. It came from [email protected] Things are progressing nicely and we have even more amazing prizes to giveaway from our fantastic sponsors. We will release details of these soon. 11.01.2022 Hey Guys, hope you enjoyed a nice tropical run this morning I checked out the new Cleland Long Course and it’s a beauty! Bloody hard but awesome track, thanks to Neil Scrimgeour for designing this. Just a final reminder if you want your name on your bib for Anstey Hill, entries need to be in by 9:00am tomorrow. 06.01.2022 Hi Guys, We hope you are all keeping safe and well. Yesterday was a big day for us all so we thought we'd let the dust settle before making any announcements. We have been very busy behind the scenes trying to ensure we can deliver a safe event when the time is right. As it stands right now, and assuming this current 6 day "circuit breaker" doesn't extend past 6 days and the current 14 day restrictions aren't extended, we could still host race #1 at Anstey Hill on December ...6th. That said, we have been able to pencil in alternative dates. The dates available to us will be the following 2 Sundays being December 13th or 20th. We have these two alternative dates penciled in with Event Strategies who will do our race timing and also our First Aid provider. We still have a few more areas to discuss with some key stakeholders so please be patient, we really appreciate it. Our refunds policy was listed under the "FAQ" tab on our website. We have now made this more clear and it now has it's own tab on the front page of our website so it is easier to find. In brief, we have adopted the same refund policy as URSA who were the previous race directors of the Summer Series. We feel this was suitable and provides a level of consistency. An email will be sent out to all entrants today. Your support and patience is greatly appreciated. We will continue to keep you up to speed as soon as any decisions are made. Have a great day - ATR
03.01.2022 ** Important Summer Series Update ** Yay, we can all start running again! That felt like a lifetime :) We really appreciate your patience and all the supportive messages mean a lot, thank you. ... As it stands right now, we should be able to proceed as planned with Race #1 at Anstey Hill on December 6th but please be mindful that things can change at any moment. We will push ahead with plans as usual but with a very close eye on proceedings. Important: The cut-off time to have your name printed on the race bibs is 9:00am this Monday morning the 23rd. We will only be ordering an additional 50 race bibs to offer for entries taken after 9:00am. Also, be mindful we may be forced to reduce our numbers so it's very important to get your entries in now to guarantee a spot. Let your friends know! We have the 13th and 20th of December as a fall-back option if we can't race on the 6th. If we are unable to secure an alternative date a full refund is available minus a $15 admin fee.
