25.01.2022 Ever wondered what the AUFC record is for goals in an A-grade game? Well, we’ve got a Sunday treat for you In 1960, at the height of the AUFC’s golden era, Anthony The Ox Ravesi (pictured below with Janne and Gordo) torched Teachers’ College to the tune of 16.1 in a 23-goal Blacks demolition. SIXTEEN goals in a single outing for one of the AUFC’s greatest sharpshooters - and one point which (as legend has it) skimmed the post on its way through *... Those who saw him play still maintain that the Ox is arguably the AUFC’s GOAT - in an era when you had to be an Adelaide university student to play for the Blacks - and it’s easy to see why with hauls like that! Thanks to Jane S Ravesi and her dad - the Ox himself - for a magnificent Blacks flashback *The full story of the Ox’s performance on this date is even better, but we’ll leave that for the ‘60s crew to regale us with at their annual lunch

Ben together with crack assistant coaching team Seb Paynter, Pup Heath and Dan Weekley has done an amazing job leading the club this year in very trying circumstances.
