10.01.2022 Whilst many football fans would've been busy tuning into the Elections USA on Wednesday evening, a small portion of diehard Adelaide United supporters turned ou...t at Marden Sports Complex to see Carl Veart's youthful looking team battle Azzurri Sports Club-Adelaide Blue Eagles in our first friendly for the upcoming 2020/21 A-League season. The Reds got up 2-0, but how satisfied were three of our intrigued fans from the Red Army AUFC, including Secretary Robby Anderson and the eternally passionate Antonis Pagonis? Tune in and find out. Don't forget to attend next week's Red Army event at The Brompton Hotel, a screening of the magical 2015/16 Grand Final and a surprise visit from a familiar face from Adelaide United.

The former Socceroos and Gençlerbirlii Spor Kulübü striker, and our all-time record goal scorer, also discussed the types of challenges and advocacies he is tasked with in his critical role at the club, what the future holds for Adelaide United, why he believes we are now a destination club for the A-League's best young talent, how he was brought back to the club after appearing on Fox Sports Football after retiring and how crucial it is for the club to engage with supporters during a global pandemic. As this was filmed at a Red Army AUFC event where our 2015/16 Grand Final win was screened, Bruce also touched on his memories from that amazing season and why he believes it all clicked for us in that roller coaster of a campaign. We would also like to thank Marius Zanin, Head of Marketing and Communications at the club, for coordinating the interview.
