23.01.2022 We are so excited to share our destinations (and specials) for the pub-crawl coming up this Friday! Here’s a run down of the night: 5-6:30pm UNIBAR... Happy hour specials including $5 pints from 5-6pm We’ll then have a commercial (and food) break from: 6:30-7pm STAAZI & CO. We are still going through the voting process and are striving to announce the incoming 2021 AUCE committee as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience in this process!

15.01.2022 We hope you are as excited for the AUCE Goes International talk THIS COMING THURSDAY at 4pm as we are! In the lead up to the event, we thought we'd highlight our gifted panel, by featuring An Deng today! An Deng () is an academic in School of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering, the University of the Adelaide. He is committed to teaching geotechnical courses, supervising final year projects, as well as conducting research in geotechnical engineer. Deng is interna...tionally recognised for his research and expertise in beneficial reuse of waste materials, ground improvement, and computer modelling. His research has delivered 125 technical publications in discipline-leading journals, conferences, and books. He has supervised 138 students, from Hons, Masters to PhDs, to complete research project. These research highlights are part of outputs of his journey as an academic which he started in China. Deng had been working as a junior academic in Hohai University in Nanjing before he came to Australia. Further before, Deng pursued his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the universities in China and the US. 04.01.2022 We hope you are as excited for the AUCE Goes International talk TOMORROW at 4pm as we are! In the lead up to the event, we thought we'd highlight our gifted panel, by featuring our last panel member Han Fang today! Dr. Han Fang is a Lecturer in Structural Engineering and Director of Internationalisation, in the School of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering at University of Adelaide. She received her Bachelor of Civil Engineering (1st class honour) and PhD in Struct...ural Engineering from Monash University. Her research interests include functional and high performance construction materials, steel and composite structures, fire resistance and design for modular construction and reuse. She has collaborated with industry companies on development projects and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University before joining the University of Adelaide. She has been the organising or scientific committee member for leading international conferences or symposiums and giving young researcher lectures at different symposiums.
