25.01.2022 Just 5 days till AUMO Prescribes Jazz! Come to Rhino Room to hear the AUMO Big Band together with bands Citrus Buzz and Moon Soda play jazz, funk and groovy tunes on the 17th of August (Saturday). Money raised will be going to support the Mobile Language Team from the University of Adelaide who work to help Indigenous languages in South Australia develop resources. Earlier this year they provided a workshop for medical students in Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara languages...! So make sure you get your friends and family, buy your tickets and head on out for a Saturday night boogie! 14.01.2022 AUMO is proud to announce our latest donation from our AUMO Prescribes Jazz Concert. Thanks to you we have donated $1500 to Headspace Whyalla to help improve the wellbeing of young Australians, and a further $500 to the Titjikala Indigenous music project (on top of the $6000 we donated earlier this year from our annual concert). We're incredibly grateful for all of the support we have received this year to not only put on two incredible concerts, but also to enable us to help these two fantastic organisations! 06.01.2022 2017 has been another incredible year for AUMO. We organized one of the most ambitious concerts in recent memory, had record numbers of people turn up to AUMO Prescribes Jazz, and our community outreach has never been stronger. We are proud to announce that this year, we've raised over $3000 for the Survivors of Torture and Trauma Assistance and Rehabilitation Service, as well as $1000 for the National Centre of Aboriginal Language and Music Studies. Our concerts are always ...such a pleasure to organize and the amount we can raise for these great causes is the cherry on top. Of course, our success would never be possible without you - our AUMO community. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your support and never ending enthusiasm for our work really is the backbone of our organization. We look forward to an even bigger and better 2018, the 10th anniversary of AUMO.
