10.01.2022 Changing restrictions in changing times - thankfully we can all walk for exercise from now! Last Tuesday, the Uniting Church Crisis Management Team closed all Uniting Church 'in-person' services for 2 weeks within 50km of the CBD under the restrictions before the lockdown - so we are still under that directive at this stage. 'In person' services may be closed but Church Online is happening & as we are all church together - church continues! We love, pray, show kindness, encourage and care for each other & others! #togetherwepause #togetherwepray #togetherwearethechurch

04.01.2022 Pretty awesome to see Rev Dr Auntry Denise Champion awarded the Degree of Doctor of Divinity at Adelaide West Uniting Church last night. In 2015 Aunty Denise, a... proud Adnyamathanha woman, became the first Aboriginal woman ordained in South Australia. She was recognised for her accomplishments as a scholar and leader, and her life's work in reconciliation, rural advocacy, work with UAICC - Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress and love and compassion for all people.
