Our aim is LONGEVITY for body and mind given this a life long practice. We give students knowledge and information to decide for themselves what is best for their body. Sometimes the greatest challenge is teach ourselves to listen and REST.

All of the teachers make you feel so welcome, as well as other members, without having that 'clicky' environment I've found in some studios around town. ... The large studio space is never cramped, and you can expect different postural gems and specialties from each instructor. It's never intimidating and always a pleasure. I never regret beginning or ending my day at Adelaide Yoga Flow.

11.01.2022 UNWIND every SUNDAY 4pm YIN CLASS with Michael It’s not the pose that makes it yin or yang, but the energy with which we practice it.... A 60minute yin yoga class offers only a handful of grounding poses, each held for 3 to 5+ minutes. BENEFITS: The more we work our fascial system and deep tissues, the less dense and tight our bodies become as we age. Yin Yoga teaches us to reroute the mind and slow the heart rate when we experience discomfort. Taps into the parasympathetic nervous system (think: "rest and digest" vs. "fight or flight"), which acts like a "brake" when it comes to stress, and enabling a balanced energy throughout the body.

05.01.2022 Dan teaches the importance of breath in his classes at AYF. His personal morning practise is 1 breath per 55 seconds, 14 rounds. Then he gets on the mat to move the spine.
