06.01.2022 The team over at Evolution Dance Company will be hosting some fantastic Zouk instructors this weekend - Bruno & Sarah from Bossa Latina, based in Brisbane. These two are highly skilled dancers and great educators on all things Zouk, plus their workshops are full of great technique tips and lightbulb moments that will give your dance an extra boost (you might be lucky and be able to book in for a private lesson too). The first 30 minutes is Jaime Aroxa's account of how he brought Zouk to Rio de Janeiro - this is the story of the birth of Rio Zouk as a dance! The final 20 mins is spoken by Rodrigo Delano, who had a major influence on the development of Brazilian Zouk in Sao Paulo.
