20.01.2022 I had my first cigarette because I wanted to be cool... For years after that I was hooked on the social aspect of it... It took me a few years and then I realised just how uncool it was, but I was hooked!... I managed to stop a few times for long periods later in life but always continued to socially smoke when drinking. Recently I decided I was ready to stop again and have only had 1 or 2 small hits of tobacco through a pipe for grounding of an evening before bed... Then something happened this weekend... Something beyond the comprehension of my younger self, and incredibly shocking and overwhelming for even my current self. I am ok.... But suddenly I have a new reason for smoking... The feeling of the smoke in my lungs reminds me I'm alive and in this physical world here and now Be careful what you wish for, and be ready when it comes I am grateful for the time and preparation bestowed through my path to strengthen me for my task
