25.01.2022 || ITS TIME TO VOTE || Ballot papers have started arriving so heres what you need to do. Check your mailbox...this is where you will find your ballot paper so this step is crucial. If its not there yet dont despair....Australia post are currently processing a little over 1.5 million packages....so be patient it will arrive very soon. Once you have your ballot paper follow the instructions and vote for me..ADINA LIEBLICH by putting a tick next to my name!... There are two vacancies in the south ward so you can vote for another candidate of your choosing as well. Be aware however if you prefer, only voting for one candidate is also valid. Make sure you sign the certificate on your ballot paper envelope Without a signed certificate your vote wont count...but dont worry when your ballot is returned to the electoral commission staff detach the elector certificates from each envelope to preserve the secrecy of your ballot. Once you have filled in your ballot and signed the certificate go to the Australia post website to find the nearest post box to you and send it back. Then sit back, relax and watch the magic of democracy unfold. #cityofvincent #adina4vincent #movingvincentforward

21.01.2022 || ELECTION DAY || Its finally here! You can find me outside the City of Vincent Administration building ready and willing to greet all you vocal locals arriving to drop of your ballot papers!! Theres still plenty of time to get you ballots in before 6pm so come say hello!
20.01.2022 If your election package is lost, damaged or accidentally thrown out dont despair!! Head on over to City of Vincent HQ and get issued a new one. Be a vocal local, get involved, get into it, get onto it and get around these local government elections.
19.01.2022 || Stitch n Bitch || We already know the amazing therapeutic work Vincent Mens Shed, Perth, WA does whilst simultaneously creating a beautiful sense of community! For me personally, during hard times emotionally, I have found knitting extremely therapeutic..and the video below discusses all the benefits of music! ... Unfortunately my musical talents are...not well received..so I cant champion organising a communal music activity (Altho I encourage someone better qualified to consider it!) However...who would be up for a stitch n bitch..? Could hold it once a month, or once a quarter depending on demand, in a local cafe or the Town Hall..?
18.01.2022 Be a vocal local!
18.01.2022 || LETS DO THIS || Ballots are arriving and now is your opportunity to have your voice heard. To vote tick up to a MAXIMUM OF TWO CANDIDATES (as there are two vacancies to fill, you can vote for me and one other...OR just me!) fill in your declaration, put both your declaration and your ballot in the supplied envelope and post back in an @auspost box near you.... All the instructions you need to complete your vote will be contained in your ballot paper package which will start arriving in Vincent mailboxes from today. Due to the sheer volume of ballots to distribute not all packages will arrive today, so dont be alarmed if yours hasnt come yet....sometimes members of the same household have been known to receive ballots days apart. Most likely yours is on the way and should be with you sometime this week. Vote Adina Lieblich #movingvincentforward #adina4vincent
17.01.2022 || ITS TIME || Messages like this are why Im running. Ballot papers should be in your mailbox NOW. Go rescue it from the rain and vote Adina Lieblich. Lets do this thing Vincent!
17.01.2022 Massive thank you to the team at Transition Town Vincent for having me at their monthly meeting last night! It was really inspiring talking about all the ways we can work towards and more environmentally sustainable community. My apologies for distracting everyone from the regularly scheduled agenda https://www.facebook.com/ttvincent/
15.01.2022 Highly recommend any businesses in the area get behind this awesome organisation!
14.01.2022 || WOULD YOU SUPPORT AN INITIATIVE LIKE THIS? || I heard about the Bed Down initiative that just finished a two week trial in Brisbane and would love to hear what Vincent residents think? Should something like this be trialled in Perth? If so would you be for or against a trial in Vincent?
14.01.2022 || MISLEADING STATEMENT || The following article in todays issue of the Eastern Reporter, published by Community News - Perth, falsely claims that I did not respond to the journalists request for comment. All candidates where asked to submit our comments by 9am Monday October 7th to meet the early morning Tuesday deadline for that weeks paper.... I am currently working a full time job whilst running a campaign and due to time constraints shortly after the deadline for comment I contacted the journalist in charge of this article apologising for my tardiness and requesting my comments still be included which I would have to them by that afternoon. I received a response stating...Yes of course no worries Adina I then submitted my comments as agreed that afternoon, in keeping with the aforementioned written agreement. To my surprise despite all of this, there was no mention of said comments in last weeks paper....and as you can imagine I was even MORE surprised to see the article in todays paper..10 days after my comments were submitted...claiming that I did not even respond. This gives readers the impression I do not care about the issues that concern them and did not feel it important enough to take the time to respond....neither of which is true. I will include screenshots of my responses in the comments section below for anyone who is interested to read.
13.01.2022 || MORE ART IN LANEWAYS? || These are some pictures I took of one of my favourite laneways in vincent recently. The artwork that adorns it is just amazing and such a beautiful example of what can be achieved when council, businesses and residents work together. Its also clear that the residents who use it take a lot of pride in maintaining the area...one of them was gardening and cleaning while I took these pictures.... There are many laneways however that arent quite as beautiful and adorned as this one...and lots of residents have expressed to me that we arent doing enough to maximise our use of these spaces..with many full of rubbish and not utilised by families and children for play. Should we be doing more to tidy up our laneways and encourage artistic initiatives to turn our dirty dark lanes into light and bright attractions?
13.01.2022 || FIND A POST BOX NEAR YOU || I made this short video showing how easy it is to find a mail box near you so you can get those ballots returned and make your voice heard!!

11.01.2022 || Stitch n Bitch || We already know the amazing therapeutic work Vincent Men's Shed, Perth, WA does whilst simultaneously creating a beautiful sense of community! For me personally, during hard times emotionally, I have found knitting extremely therapeutic..and the video below discusses all the benefits of music! ... Unfortunately my musical talents are...not well received..so I cant champion organising a communal music activity (Altho I encourage someone better qualified to consider it!) 02.01.2022 Ill be at this event tonight and would love to see as many of your lovely faces as possible! Come meet the candidates and ask us questions. Get involved, hear where we all stand on the issues and let us know what is important to you!
02.01.2022 It only takes a quick 30 second scan of the comments on this article to see that our current paid parking approach in the City of Vincent is NOT working. The City of Vincent is doing great work to try and assist local business in the area....but the question is how effective can that spending be if we continue to ignore feedback from businesses and patrons alike regarding just how negative the impact of paid parking during the evening trade is?
01.01.2022 YOU CAN STILL VOTE! It is too late to post your ballot but you CAN drop it off at the City of Vincent Administration Building on the corner of Vincent and Loftus street in person anytime before 6pm tomorrow, Saturday October 19th and still have your voice heard!
