24.01.2022 #58 Reclaim Energy Co2 hot water heat pump for the year has replaced an old electric hot water tank on a house at Aldgate. The heat pump is set up to run during the day to take advantage of power generated from the home’s solar PV system. This install was an emergency job that came in yesterday, as we hold stock of Reclaim Energy heat pumps in Adelaide we can offer a quick turnaround and get you back in hot water!

Today’s heat pump has replaced an old electric hot water tank that was located in the soon to be renovated laundry. We relocated the hot water system outside to make room inside for the new laundry layout.

09.01.2022 Kind feedback from one of our clients we installed a Madimack pool heat pump for last week. They had their electrician hook the heat pump up as part of other works on Wednesday afternoon with us booked to visit today to undertake commissioning. Unfortunately with the COVID restrictions in place in SA we can’t visit site, so we worked with the client by phone to commission the heat pump including purging the pump, setting the correct flow rate and deltaT (temperature difference) and even setting them up with the phone App to give them full control of their new system. Now with the pool heating up they will be ready to enjoy their pool in no time!

06.01.2022 On the day that the Prime Minister is off spruiking his gas aka fossil fuel economy recovery plan we have had the go ahead to move a block of apartments in the Adelaide CBD away from gas to heat pumps for their hot water. The clean green renewable economy is alive and well!!! This apartment block will enjoying energy efficient hot water that in due course will be powered mostly by on site solar PV creating more affordable living especially in this time of people doing it tuf...f due to to Covid. The crazy thing with this project is the new Reclaim Energy Co2 hot water heat pump solution upgrade will cost less than the block of apartments are paying to a large gas company in hot water service fees per year! This heat pump has replaced a Rheem heat pump that had failed long ago and was only running on the back up element. The heat pump has been coupled with a 400 litre stainless steel tank from Wiseliving Products

04.01.2022 Another Waterco pool heat pump back up and running today. We replaced the controller on the heat pump + gave it a good clean out internally due to a pile up of leaves from a gumtree nearby.

03.01.2022 Often we get asked if we can fit a Reclaim Energy Co2 hot water heat pump down the side of a new home on a subdivided block.... With the home taking up most of the available space often fitting a tank down the side may not work. We installed this system on a new home in Modbury Heights today. As the home has dual access to the back garden having the tank down the side of house does not get in the way. As part of moving to future proof all electric homes the spacial requireme...nts of efficient appliances like heat pumps need to be considered .
