22.01.2022 There are many misconceptions about "Gentle Birth" Some people are just put off by the term GENTLE BIRTH, thinking it is dangerous, risky, not for the sane. "We... all want to get a gentle birth, but we shouldnt let it risk our babys life" "You are lucky to get a gentle birth, unfortunately for me I had a csec" "I had a not so gentle birth, because I was induced" These are the things I often hear, and I know these people do not understand what a GENTLE BIRTH is truly about! Having a medical intervention does not immediately invalidate a Gentle Birth, having a normal birth does not automatically equate to a Gentle Birth either. A Gentle Birth is definitely about informed decisions, empowered mothers, respecting woman and baby, and most of all for the safety of both mother and baby. A Gentle Birth is about what is best for mother and baby, physically and mentally, and preparation is the KEY to getting your Gentle Birth! https://www.smartparenting.com.ph//gentle-birth-12-steps-y

19.01.2022 Birth does not have to traumatic. It can be calm and comfortable if mothers are free of fear and are fully prepared for the experience. Listen to international trainer and speaker, Bee Ting Ng as she shares on this tried-and-tested method called HypnoBirthing (Mongan Method)

17.01.2022 The birth of your child is very much a family event. Very often, we focus on Mothers & Babies & neglect Fathers. Partners play very important roles too during labor and birth. In HypnoBirthing classes, we teach partners what to do, say and be. Truly, only you know how to love her the way she loves it.... Happy Fathers Day!

15.01.2022 The only reason why cesarean section is recommend for breech births is that obgyns are not trained to receive breech babies anymore. This is a breech training that is accessible and it should really be incorporated into all obstetrics courses. Women should have choices in their births. Please consider donating a few dollars to support Breech without Borders - a non-profit project to give maternity care providers around the world hands-on practice with safe vaginal breech bir...th, using a special simulation model. https://chuffed.org/project/reteachbreech

14.01.2022 Law of Attraction - Think Positive!

14.01.2022 Research done by a Malaysian midwife that HypnoBirthing Mongan Method does help REDUCE pain during childbirth. Love her recommendation! That Mongan Method HypnoBirthing should be incorporated into midwifery curriculum. And might I add to obstetrics curriculum too.... HypnoBirthing is a natural way of pain relief. It should be offered as an alternative to pain relief drugs. How does HypnoBirthing works ? Simple.. The root cause of pain in childbirth is FEAR. When the birthing mum experiences fear, she goes into fight-flight-freeze mode and tenses her body resulting in pain as baby tries to come up against very tense muscles. This is the Fear - Tension - Pain syndrome that Dr Grantly Dick Read talks about in his book Childbirth Without Fear. HypnoBirthing tackles the root cause of pain which is FEAR by 3 ways: 1. Understanding of the natural design of birth - how our body is perfectly designed to birth so mums can regain their confidence in their own innate ability to birth their babies. 2. Fear Release through a script done in class to help mums and dads release all their subconscious fears, worries, concerns about birth. When we are deeply relaxed, our brainwave slows down (called a hypnotic state which is a natural state of mind all of us go through daily), we can access our subconscious and work on it. 3. Daily positive affirmations about birth listened to while in a deeply relaxed state so these positive mindset saturate our subconscious and eventually our whole mind (conscious and subconscious) is positive. The body, being a robot of the mind, then has no choice but to relax during labour and birth because mum has a positive mindset. When. The body holds no tension, baby comes easily in comfort. This is the difference between HypnoBirthing class and other antenatal class - Mums work on their mindset change. Even if you are a birth specialist like a obgyn or midwife, but if you have fears subconsciously, birth can still be a traumatic experience for you because the conscious part of our mind is only about 5%. HypnoBirthing works on the more powerful 95% through hypnosis / deep relaxation. And now this is proven by research that it works.. something we already know for the past 30 years that HypnoBirthing has been around and the thousands of families who have benefitted from it. This research is also significant in that it is done specifically for the Mongan Method as that is the only HypnoBirthing program taught in Malaysia. There are a few versions of HypnoBirthing in some parts of the world - mostly based on the Mongan Method and with added bells and whistles and even online courses. The Mongan Method is the original and its current format of how this course is taught ie face to face and over 5 weekly classes has been fine tuned over 30 years and found to be the optimal way of learning for parents. No other method could proudly claim that. We can because it works!
