19.01.2022 You younger men have your challenges...this is ours!! I was young once.......To all my male friends from 50 years of age and up... Most of us are going through the next phase of our lives. We're at that age where we see wrinkles, grey hair and a few extra pounds. We see the young 25-year-olds and reminisce!! But we were also 25, just as they will one day be our age.... What they bring to the table with their youth and zest, we bring our wisdom and experience. We have raised families, run households, paid the bills, dealt with diseases, sadness and everything else life has assigned us. We are survivors.....we are warriors in the quiet......we are me.....like a classic car or a fine wine. Even if our bodies may not be what they once were, they carry our souls, our courage and our strength. We shall all enter this chapter of our lives with humility, grace and pride over everything we have been through and should never feel bad about getting older. It's a privilege that is denied to so many. Men I challenge you to copy and proudly paste with your picture and age. MY Age: 50 Don’t forget to change the age!! Cheers! See more

19.01.2022 Have you heard of The Marshmallow Experiment? In the study, conducted by Stanford University researchers in 1972, the professor offered kids a marshmallow. Each child could have the one marshmallow immediately, but if the child waited, they could have two marshmallows. This was an experiment in delayed gratification. ... Researchers followed up with the children who were able to wait for two marshmallows, ie. they were able to delay gratification, and noted that later in life these children had better life outcomes, better SAT scores, and even an improved body mass index (BMI). What does this mean in relation to self-discipline? In order to practice delayed gratification, you need to have self-discipline. Where are you delaying gratification for better outcomes?

14.01.2022 What is my purpose? asked the chatter to the mind. Why do you ask?, said the mind to the chatter. Because you keep me asking?, said the chatter to the mind. Great, once you know, I’ll stop asking, said the mind to the chatter.... Nothing gives a person inner wholeness and peace like a distinct understanding of where they are going. Thomas Oppong

10.01.2022 When we limit our opportunities by saying, "they have all the luck" we limit ourselves by choosing this mindset. This is you opportunity to let the Universe know that you are open and ready to receive.

10.01.2022 Charlie Chaplin lived 88 years He left us 4 statements: (1) Nothing is forever in this world, not even our problems. (2) I love walking in the rain because no one can see my tears. (3) The most lost day in life is the day we don't laugh.... (4) Six best doctors in the world...: 1. The sun 2. Rest 3. Exercise 4. Diet 5. Self-respect 6. Friends Stick to them at all stages of your life and enjoy a healthy life... If you see the moon, you will see the beauty of God... If you see the sun, you will see the power of God... If you see a mirror, you will see God's best creation. So believe it. We are all tourists, God is our travel agent who has already identified our routes, bookings and destinations... trust him and enjoy life. Life is just a journey! Therefore, live today! Tomorrow may not be. See more

10.01.2022 Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the things you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover

03.01.2022 The Japanese have the term ikigai, which can be translated to mean a reason for being. This is anything that gives a deep sense of purpose to a person’s life and makes it worthwhile. It is what you get up for every morning. For an elderly woman, her ikigai might be a granddaughter that she takes care of while the parents work. For another person, their ikigai could be their friends or members of their community. What's your ikigai?

01.01.2022 Not sure who wrote this, but makes a whole lot of sense. Copied and posted... I have been wearing a mask in stores (and limiting my trips) since March when this whole thing went down. ... I’m not sure how being considerate to others for the common good is now being mocked by some who are calling it living in fear, but it needs to stop.... When I wear a mask over my nose and mouth in public and in the stores/Supermarkets/Pharmacies/Offices - I want you to know the following: I'm educated enough to know that I could be asymptomatic and still give you the virus. No, I don't "live in fear" of the virus; I just want to be part of the solution, not the problem. I don't feel like the "government controls me". I feel like I'm an adult contributing to the security in our society and I want to teach others the same. If we could all live with the consideration of others in mind, the whole world would be a much better place. Wearing a mask doesn't make me weak, scared, stupid or even "controlled". It makes me caring and responsible. When you think about your appearance, discomfort, or other people's opinion of you, imagine a loved one - a child, father, mother, grandparent, aunt, uncle or even a stranger - placed on a ventilator, alone without you or any family member allowed at their bedside.....Ask yourself if you could have helped them a little by wearing a mask. I copied and posted......Who else will do the same? See more
