We really appreciate the support of our loyal POOPS community who continue to share our posts and/or tag their family and friends in our posts. We love the interaction on our posts with your likes and comments. In the past fortnight we’ve had 71 new follows and 59 new likes to our page. Currently the POOPS Facebook page has 5,846 likes and 6,103 follows so we would love your help by sharing our page and/or tagging your friends or family in posts that would be of interest to them. 23.01.2022 Happy Friday We love it when our volunteers share photos of some of the POOPS dogs that they walk. As you can see, it looks like these dogs are enjoying g...etting out and about this week in this nice spring weather. We’d like to know, where are some of your favourite places to take your dogs for a walk or a run off lead? Most of the POOPS dogs get walked or let off lead not too far from their homes, but our volunteers are always on the hunt for new places to take some of the dogs that enjoy a bit of an adventure with new places to sniff (or mark their territory). Feel free to share some photos of places that you’ve taken your dogs, that they have enjoyed exploring

18.01.2022 Today my husband and I with our two guide dogs had another near miss with an electric car. We were crossing a side road and it came in off the main road and pas...sed very close in front of us. If it’d been a petrol or diesel engine, or if it’d had a sound emitter fitted, we’d have heard it, but, apart from the sound of the tyres on the road, it was virtually silent. I am a confident guide dog handler but I can honestly say that silent electric vehicles scare me. I fear that it will take serious injury to a blind person, or even worse, death, before any meaningful legislation is put into place. If it happens to me or someone that I care about, I’ll be in court and I won’t rest until we have justice. So please, if you drive an electric vehicle, switch on your sound emitter. After all, you wouldn’t drive at night without your lights on, it’s the same thing. Many people will like this post but please don’t. I ask anyone who would have hit the like button to please hit the share button instead and pass this far and wide. I fear for our lives and those of these two amazing dogs.

He is 7... months old , brown and white Maltese/Shih Tzu. He isn't wearing his collar but he is microchipped. We live in Delray Close, Warnbro. If anyone sees him please contact me. Someone within the WA community knows something. Someone will have a friend or a work colleague that has a new Scottie in their family, or a friend down the road. There are not many Scotties bred in Australia each year, so please consider this if you see or hear about a new Scottie. We’ve spoken with the WA Police directly and they have already been contacted by some people are taking this matter very seriously. Rewards are on offer for their safe return. 12.01.2022 Look who we found! Had a sighting at Wembley Golf course yesterday and set a trap last night and there he was this morning! 10 days on the run! Thanks to our amazing family, friends and community for helping us bring him home.

09.01.2022 If you haven’t seen your new puppies mum, if you didn’t ask or if they didn’t show you, it most likely because she looks like this. This poor baby is hardly 1, ...she’s had a couple of litters and been so neglected and deprived of medical attention that she’ll need a 6 month recovery. But don’t worry, the owners made a ton of money off her, that’s all that matters Note: safe in another rescue Ps: if you think by debating 1 or 2 litters means you’re clever, well you’re NOT! It means you’ve COMPLETELY missed the point and perhaps a back yard or unethical breeder yourself. Supporting this kind of abuse is abuse .

She was kicked and left to... suffer by her puppy farmer as she struggled in labour. But her life is her message, and we can't let it be forgotten. Especially by WA MPs who plan to vote against the upcoming Stop Puppy Farming Bill. This might be the only chance for a long time to get the sale of puppies in pet shops banned in Western Australia. We was at peasholm street dog beach Scarboro...ugh 24th Oct and lost him around 5:30pm. Reported to be seen on Hale Road around 6:00pm 24th Oct. His a jack russel cross with a scruffy coat and black dots, answers to the name of scruff or scruffy. We live in Midland so he is in unfamiliar territory which is breaking my heart. 01.01.2022 Little Lightening has crossed the rainbow bridge this morning and I join with my beautiful clients in grieving his loss. He may have been little but he had a HUGE* personality and was beloved. Thank you for being in my life Lightening...I will miss you especially when you would remind me that ones nails are not any ones property but ones own....you truly lit up my soul whenever I would see your cuteness.
