23.01.2022 Windows 8 is scheduled to launch later this year, and Microsoft have bet the farm with the new platform, to try and get back into the mobile/tablet space. It's a revolutionary new OS, and has the potential to make or break the company. I thought I'd share this brief history of the ubiquitous product that transformed our experience with using pcs. 14.01.2022 Hashtags on Facebook: http://www.facebook-studio.com//introducing-hashtags-on-fa Facebook have finally begun the rollout of clickable hashtags, similar to Twitter and Instagram, as a way of categorising the 4.75 billion pieces of content that are shared each day on the network.... The hashtags are are part of a larger push to make it easier for users to discover content relevant to their interests, and will soon include features like trending topics, and new insights. Implications for businesses include: * The ability to run cross platform promotions via the hashtags across Twitter, Instagram etc * A mechanism to easily discover comments or content related to your business, market or competition * A channel for joining discussions related to your field. As more features are rolled out, I'll discuss these in more detail, and share ways that other businesses are successfully adopting these new tools.
