25.01.2022 Meet our National Scientific Director, Emma Ebinger "I have worked in the field of human clinical embryology for my entire career, over 29 years now. My interest in embryology and assisted reproduction was sparked whilst studying my undergraduate honours degree in Zoology. Following graduation, I was fortunate enough to get a trainee embryologist position at King’s College Hospital in London. This was a really exciting time in the world of IVF! Standard techniques today wer...e only just emerging and revolutionising patients’ treatment, such as embryo freezing and ICSI. Following on from this I went onto work in clinics in Asia and the Middle East before relocating to Australia. Since arriving in Australia, I have worked in several large IVF clinics and have been responsible for the design, set up and running of many new embryology laboratories as IVF has expanded over the years. In addition, I have spent time sharing my experience and knowledge in developing countries, advising on quality management in IVF and assisting with setting up of new IVF clinics. Since 2016 I have been an invited lecturer for the Clinical Embryology course run at the University of the Sunshine Coast, I love being involved with the next generation of embryologists. My focus has remained the same over the years and that is to review and continuously improve scientific protocols and processes so that each patient is given the very best possible opportunity of success. I am lucky enough to work with an amazing team of dedicated embryologists nationally at Adora Fertility. I feel very privileged to have a scientific job where you can make a difference in people’s lives, it is incredibly rewarding." We feel fortunate to have Emma's experience and dedication overseeing our labs nationally. #AdoraFertility

21.01.2022 We're asked quite a lot ‘what makes Adora Fertility different to other clinics?’ what makes us different is that we offer the same services as a lot of other fertility clinics but at a more affordable price point for our patients. We have fundamentally changed the landscape for fertility treatment here in Australia. Our CEO, Jaime Simpson says we did that by making services like IVF available to couples with most of their costs covered by Medicare. That has saved them thous...ands of dollars compared to other clinics and it’s something we're really proud of". Adora Fertility has brought together a team of leading fertility specialists, nurses and scientists who have been specially selected to guide you on your fertility journey. These talented professionals have a wealth of experience in fertility treatments and are ready to play a unique role in managing your expectations as well as lending courage and strength during one of the most important periods in your life. Whilst decisions around fertility treatment involve physical, emotional and medical considerations, the costs of fertility treatment can be a major cause of stress for many couples when considering fertility services. We have removed that barrier by providing access to the latest, high quality fertility treatments at affordable prices. Book an appointment with us today www.adorafertility.com.au

19.01.2022 Understanding how the female reproductive system works can sometimes help to achieve a successful pregnancy. This is because it is important to have intercourse at the right time in a woman’s cycle. It may also help you comprehend why you may be having trouble conceiving and the ways in which IVF treatment can address these issues. Reach out to our team if you have questions around your cycle

19.01.2022 Our world is to help you change yours #AdoraFertility

16.01.2022 What we do is simple...we offer high quality IVF at a fraction of the cost. Why would you pay more for fertility treatment? #AdoraFertility

15.01.2022 Trigger a medication given during an IVF/OI/IUI cycle to stimulate ovulation and maturation of eggs. In an IVF cycle the timing of a trigger injection is very specific as the eggs need to be collected from the follicles before they are released.

12.01.2022 Medicare subsidised Telehealth services will continue for another six months under a $2bn Covid19 package. The Telehealth extension, which will run until March 31 2021, provides Australians access to care in their homes from GPs, nurses, midwives, specialists and mental health professionals. By providing Telehealth services we are reducing the risk of exposure to Covid19 in the community, while also supporting our patients in isolation to get the treatment/care they need. Visit our website to request your appointment www.adorafertility.com.au

11.01.2022 Every fertility treatment is as unique as you are. In fact, every couple’s situation may be different which is why our services will be customised to suit your individual requirements.

10.01.2022 You've got options with our Egg Freezing service. Did you know that women are generally born with over two million eggs, but that’s it? We don’t continue to produce them after a certain point in our lives. Furthermore, we lose a large majority of our eggs between puberty and our early 20s (approx. 1 million) and continue to lose some more every month. That’s not all we need to consider. The second and more important aspect is egg quality. The quality of each egg is determin...ed by its genetic make-up and cellular machinery. As we age, the proportion of genetically normal eggs declines and the cellular machinery gets tired. In simple terms, women in their 20s will have more viable eggs than they will in their 40s. Through many years of research and clinical experience, we know that the optimum age to conceive naturally is during our early-20s to mid-30s. Having said that, for many of us and for many reasons, the immediate future is not the right time to be starting a family. Know your options, book a bulk-billed consultation at one of our clinics today! www.adorafertility.com.au

09.01.2022 A repost from the honest and beautiful @daniellejade.p "If you’re reading this with a heavy heart, over the image of yet another glowing couple and a perfect little baby bump...I want you to know that I see you. I am you. It has been quite the journey to Baby P. Last year, hearing the words unexplained infertility felt like a punch to the stomach. Over the following weeks and months that flew by, yet felt like an eternity, our hopes and dreams of becoming mum and dad s...eemed to slip further and further from reach. We wondered if this would ever become our reality (Heck... it still doesn’t feel like real life!) However this journey has been a reminder that there is no perfect path in life, only our own unique road. It has shown me a strength that I never knew I had (and needles... so many needles) It has taught us patience, understanding, and made our relationship unbreakable, mood swings and all. And all of our struggles, the tears, and the heartache, has made the reward so much sweeter. Don’t ever give up hope for your someday baby " #AdoraFertility

04.01.2022 Can you guess what this is? It's cervical mucus under a microscope. Did you know that at the beginning of your menstrual cycle, mucus is sparse, cloudy and dense but when you ovulate, this fluid becomes more plentiful, clear, slippery and stretches easily? This mucus is easier for the sperm to swim through.
