24.01.2022 This is a fantastic video about the misconceptions around dominance and alpha techniques to control dogs . If you are a dog or new puppy owner please watch , it’s only ten minutes to learn a lot . We are an advocate for positive reinforcement at Adore The Paw , there are far too many emotionally and physically confused and hurt dogs out there . Very proud to say we work alongside Rouse Hill Family Vets to promote fear free vet visits , handling , grooming and training
22.01.2022 don’t go near him or he’ll eat you!
22.01.2022 Today my doggos went to @calabashkennelsandcattery for a play session to become familiar with the kennels before their stay in a few weeks Fun times #dockdogs dog in the making... Calabash kennels is an amazing kennel , the only place where I would send my dogs . Did you know they also do doggy day care , and you can also hire a private play yard for your own dogs or a group of dog friends for a very reasonable fee , so good for nervous or dog reactive pups to get a good run , or swim !
21.01.2022 Amen to this post , I 100% agree with everything said and although I am not entirely anti dog Park, I certainly choose my times to go but have had enough rude dog issues with my anxious girl that we don’t go often and i much prefer adventure walks and meeting up with half a dozen friends dogs than an unfiltered unknown at a dog park. I firmly believe puppies under 6 months of age shouldn’t be going to dog parks while they are still Maturing physically and socially, as they e...ither become loud rude and wild , taking these expectations to other interactions outside the dog park, or they get a fright , or hurt. Definitely choose where to go and when , if there are dogs there not in control of their emotional state, leave and look out for your own pack ;)

13.01.2022 Some exciting and cute news to share Adore The Paw combined with the truckload of effort so far with Rouse Hill Family Vets are raising a litter of 7 pups who were born via emergency Caesarian 3 weeks ago. Pups have been raised by a combination of mum and the extraordinary veterinary team at the clinic . The pups are staffy x kelpie and will have high energy , high drive instinct needing active and dog experienced homes . ... Expressions of interest are welcomed at this early stage via myself , Casey It is uncertain if we will raise the pups to rehoming age or find a suitable rescue in the next few weeks to go to but you can still contact me with interest . *homes will be selected based on experience and suitability *

11.01.2022 Important info regarding Coronovirus and our services , please read in full below : Grooming 1. We are open and will continue to operate, being mobile is great as I will continue to Come to you ... 2. I will call or sms when I arrive and for the short term future won’t be coming inside the home to greet pets. 3. If you are feeling sick with a cold or flu like illness please ring me and reschedule your appointment (with notice if poss ) notice is essential as a small business as last min cancellations affect my wage. **I have had pneumonia last month and have a parent with lung disease so really have to be careful , please respect my need to stay healthy so I can stay in business and assist you, and I will ensure we reshecule a groom ASAP ** 5. I may not continue to accept cash as payment to reduce germ risk as cash is sometimes dirty . 6. I am very big on owners assisting and keeping their pets company during grooms but may restrict or stop this unless a pet is very fearful- if so we may have a mask party ( glowsticks and music not included ) 4. On a lighter note :Please avoid handshakes, high fives and hugs when you are very happy with your grooms , we can air high five If you have any questions please contact me via phone during 9-6 biz hours Puppy school : Will continue to operate , the classes are outdoors in open air which is a much lower risk. You are welcome to wear a mask if you are worried , and please use logical handwashing/ hand sanitation steps. Please do not attend if you or a family member is unwell- we can arrange an online live catch up lesson. This is all precautionary and if I am unwell for any reason I will extend the same Courtesy to not work for the health of others let’s hope not !
11.01.2022 GO ! One of Mine stole the toilet paper again, and the other one ate kangaroo poop
10.01.2022 Hello PAWsome people who are my wonderful clients. A quick post to say that I value you all and do apologise if I am sometimes delayed getting back to you. I have grown exponentially in the last few months and am now inundated with enquiriesm, especially with covid shutting down some groomers and puppy preschool courses . A great problem to have I know, but can become overwhelming at times. I have been trying to hire a suitable groomer or two to join my team but it is actuall...y very difficult to find these unicorns who want to work for someone else as opposed to for themselves, but I will keep searching to expand my team! Still on the hunt for a kind and gentle groomer who understands behaviour needs of dogs and once this happens we will be able to offer shorter waiting times and more openings! Until then , I am a one woman show and grooming is fully booked until September ~ insanity! I have always been fully booked a few weeks in advance and now its looking like a month is reality. Regular customers on their pre booked schedules need not worry , this is mostly about new enquiries While most people are understanding of booking with notice,I have met a few new enquiries of late who have been abusive in their response to being booked ahead, and it takes a toll on my stress levels as I am striving to work as hard as possible, lately 7 days a week. Most groomers unless they are brand new or have a huge number of staff are booked in advance a similar timeframe these days and it is unfortunate but reality. With one on one grooming comes a wait time , as I do not want or have a salon set up to mass produce grooms in a day, nor can i find staff currently and it is an industry shortage ! Puppy schools are operating at three different locations all year round and we try to open up new classes to suit demand where possible. We currently have - Rouse HilL Family Vets course - Glenhaven/Glenorie course - Winston Hills Vet course We have an exciting announcement of more trainers joining us very soon, and this will open up more available classes and home visits for training Stay tuned and please be kind to one another.

02.01.2022 Due to a norty pupper who is very enthusiastic with life and parkour moves around the couch - Casey’s laptop is now dead . Said laptop is being replaced tomorrow so please be aware if there is a delay with responding we are experiencing dog induced technical difficulties . But we still love this face , who wouldn’t .
02.01.2022 So funny we of course don’t push dogs to panic point with nail trims and use lots of positive reinforcement but this video is still amusing
