20.01.2022 Here are the ladies hard at work preparing the free take away meals for tonight. Meals will be ready from 5pm- 6:30pm. Tonight’s special is a free 3 litre tropical juice with every meal. 49 North Street Gatton.

18.01.2022 It’s been an incredible week so far going from doing hampers on a Friday to doing them on a Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Some young ladies really made amazing happen today. Firstly Donna who was amazing today as our new hamper coordinator. Great to have you as part of the team. SJ up the front did a fantastic job taking the bookings. So proud of you today. And Patty who was looking after the cold goods and vegetables. You did a great job. Everybody was amazing and I love working with you all.

14.01.2022 Hi Everyone. There seems to be some confusion about our new system for picking up hampers. So I just thought I would post a friendly step by step reminder of how we now run. 1. Still come in the front door first to pay and collect your ticket for the hamper and to confirm your rebooking. 2. Drive between us and Wayne's World to around the back of the building. 3. Please remain seated in your vehicle, for safety reasons, and present your ticket to our volunteers who will loa...d your goodies into your vehicle for you. 4. Drive out throught the IGA carpark and enjoy the rest of your day. Please do not walk through the building and down the driveway. If you drive around the back without your ticket you may be asked to move your car so you are not causing congestion. If we can all follow these steps, we will be able to help you more efficiently and it will help protect you and our volunteers from unnecessary risks. Thank you. P.S. The bananas are to grab you attention as people are more interested in a post with a photo. Hope you have a great day.

13.01.2022 Love to see this. I really pray that we get the rain we need so our farmers can have a hope for the future. These guys battle every day to produce food for our country and try and make a living out of passion they have for the land. They need all the support they can get and not just from governments but all individuals in our community.

12.01.2022 And that's a wrap for the next couple of weeks. A big thank you to all our volunteers and the fantastic job that you do. I hope you enjoy the next couple of weeks and are ready for when we kick off again on Wednesday October 7th. During which time Islander Feast and Kitchen Connect will still be running on Sunday and Monday evenings, so you can still get a feed there. We would also like to thank our patrons for there patience and co-operation in getting our new pick up system running smoothly.
