12.01.2022 A couple of years ago Tyson was living a normal life. He had a full time job, a loving family, and a healthy relationship with his girlfriend. But gradually, hi...s life began to unravel. I started to lose myself in the money, the alcohol, the drinking, Tyson says. His relationship fell apart, his family withdrew, and he lost his job due to reckless behaviour, leaving Tyson alone with his addiction and poor mental health. This is Tyson's story of how he escaped his downward spiral and has a future worth looking forward to again. See more

12.01.2022 The most special and treasured part of our shop was our volunteers, and today we had our volunteer lunch and thanked them for their wonderful contributions and for their time and heartfelt effort that they put into our ADRA Op Shop in Parafield. Thankyou once again! And to those who couldn’t make it.

07.01.2022 There is so much devastation. So many families have lost their homes. Yesterday, we received access from the police to support the remote communities - Orbost ...and also Sarsfield with food, water, bread, bedding, diesel for the generators and the Red Cross needed more men's packs. We can't thank you enough for your words of encouragement and prayers. There are volunteers here helping who have caravans packed ready to leave if the fires reach them. Thank you also to the Casey crew for supplying a van full of essential items late last night. We will keep you updated with any needs as they arise. If you would like to support financially please go to: www.adra.org.au/donate (Reference: ADRA Bairnsdale) ADRA Community Centre - Bairnsdale ADRA Australia

03.01.2022 Looking back over the past 7 years at Parafield, here is one special lady that we want to thank. Jacqui managed the shop for many years, and the fact that so many customers know her and speak so highly of her is a testament to her caring nature and the impact that she had on both customers and volunteers alike during her years of management. We were excited to have her back on the scene as a day manager on Fridays for the past few months. Thanks Jacqui!
