24.01.2022 Last Friday, our team took some time out of our normal busy day to go shopping. We bought many toys, books and gifts before heading down to MacKillop Family Services in South Melbourne where we met with Jacki. Jacki was kind enough to spend some time taking us around and explained the importance of MacKillop Family services in the lives of roughly 6000 kids currently in Foster care. MacKillop Family Services works with children and young people in foster care and residentia...l care to give them the chance to build a brighter future. Many of these children have suffered trauma and abuse at the hands of those they should trust most and MacKillop works to find them a stable, secure and loving home. MacKillop is currently looking for foster carers from different walks of life across Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia. There are a variety of foster caring options for people to choose from. People can also support MacKillop by donating. The aim of Bail Out is to raise funds and awareness for Whitelion, to inspire and empower young people who have been disconnected from our community, by giving them the courage to choose a better future.
