(Beginner athletes only) If you have thought about joining cheerleading or are already a recreational athlete with our club and want to try out the world of competitive cheerleading this team is for you! Our CheerSport program is a very cost-effective way to introduce kids to the world of competitive cheerleading. ... Being semi-comp there are no allstar uniform costs, just 1 training per week, only 1 event to travel and compete at (Qld 2021), all ages 7+ and all abilities! Every kid who joins our cheersport squad this term will be trained in the basic/intermediate skills involved in cheerleading - learn a routine choreographed to music that they will compete at a major event in 2021 with their team and get to see why everyone is so excited about our sport and being a part of Adrenalin!! What is Cheer?? Cheerleading as a sport has room for everybody, all athletes are given vital roles and jobs in the team - no reserves. They learn to support, encourage and grow as a team and as individuals whilst making friends and special memories. We stunt, dance, jump and tumble our way through high energy action packed routines, there are divisions for fairness and teams are scored on their creativity, technique and execution. This is actually quite a large team but unfortunately not all athletes submitted a video to be part of our montage but we did get quite a few This team is our senior 2 and they all bring different strengths to the team, some will lead our end dance, others are responsible for executing our perfect tumbling, others are the strongest at throwing athletes into the air and doing complex stunts w...hich of course means some are the brave ones who get thrown around, have to bend into all sorts of positions and sell the teams skills! This sport truly has a place for everyone to shine...

20.01.2022 So although we only got to spend a few Saturdays with our newest Adrenalin athletes before we had to close for Covid 19 - I did manage to get a few pics and vids of the classes in action. We are in the process of preparing an 8 week term for online delivery that will be offered to our current recreational athletes so although we cant be with you all in person just yet we want you all to know our coaches miss seeing your smiling faces and would love to see you still able to practice skills at home if you want to!! This season we were very lucky to have so many new athletes join our club that wanted to join into a competitive cheer team. Novice is a division designed for athletes new to the sport - as you can see these kids are just getting started and have put together some basic (and not so basic) skills they can do safely from home for this video... ... 09.01.2022 Its been a long time since we have been able to have our competitive teams in studio or see our kids in real life but rest assured Adrenalin athletes never give up, like most organisations we have been running a zoom class each week for every team and although its far from ideal it shows what their sport and team mates mean to them... This week the dreamers cheer team wanted to boost spirits and motivate our younger athletes to keep practicing- anything they can - anywhere... they can! 09.01.2022 Halloween dress up and games day training! We had 4 of our cheer teams in last night for some fun and routine work.... fair to say they all had a good time and plenty of laughs in between their tumble and stunt training

09.01.2022 Adrenalin Cheer is now actively looking for advanced tumblers aged 11-18yrs that would like to get involved in our elite cheer program! You will be training during Term 3 and 4 this year working on tumbling advancement and the tuition of stunting progressively moving up in difficulty as safe to do so..... skills we are looking for are: Toe Touch Back Tucks... Standing Back Handsprings into Back Tucks or Layouts Roundoff Back Handspring Layouts Any running twisting skills or combinations of..... This is just a training program - no further commitment at this stage. We will assess the athletes training in this program at end of season to see which will be selected to compete in Evolution Senior 5 Cheer in 2021 season. If you have never seen Level 5 cheer - check it out on YouTube it will be an experience like never before! 04.01.2022 On Saturday we hired out the Illawong Leisure Centre for our competitive athletes party and it was a fantastic day for all!! Mini golf, volleyball, laser tag and swimming kept them all busy laughing and smiling together.
