16.01.2022 Yesterday couldn’t have been more perfect for Nic Angelucci’s Memorial Tag team Comp and Paddle out at the Spit . Covid had delayed the proceedings but @northendboardriders delivered and made it such a special day to be remembered . There was a huge turn out for Nic’s paddle out and the memorial tag team event named in his honor will def be a favorite event every year. RIP Nic

14.01.2022 Had a great Australia Day weekend . Hit all the swell magnets en route to Coffs. Was encouraging to see the fury like new shoot regrowth on the previously torched gun trees around Woombah. Tequila shots preamped food and beers in downtown Coffs Harbour swanky bars. Seedy start to Sunday morning fixed with an awesome breakfast and swim shoot with the gang , small crystal clear Barrels, Dolphins up close, then back on the hi-way and stop over in Woombah sun night, then run back up M1 to the Shoot with the Wazzas @firewiresurfboards on the way back to the GC followed by a day on the Beach at Snapper. 11.01.2022 Had a job postponed so raced down the coast to spend the morning at the Global Wave Conference 2020. Andy MAC and his staff have done an amazing job , Venue , topics all World Class. I Enjoyed the morning listening to some great speakers on a wide range of topics. Pacha Light was well recieved and Nick Carrol was very entertaining as he spoke about Crowds in Surfing. Then after ex Elite Pro Surfer and now Australian Olympic Coach Bede Durbidges presentation on the preparations for our Olympic Surfing team I shot over to Snapper Rocks to catch Bede go surfing with Mick de Brenni the Qld Minister for Sport who actually is a very capable surfer and picked up some nice waves @gcwsr @bededurbo @pachalight @andy_mac53 @southerncrossuni @ausolympicteam @mickdebrenni @canonaustralia @aquatech_imagingsolutions @ Southern Cross University

07.01.2022 Just had an awesome 5 days exploring areas along the NSW coastline from Sawtell , right down to Avoca Beach. Loaded the boards,camera and Beers into the mighty Blue Ute with a good crew @drewen7 @mjstutter and headed South with no itinerary or constraints. Hit known swell magnets and also explored and found new ones . This was shot yesterday at an amazing bay with heavy fog rolling through and A frame lefts and rights hitting some good banks.
