18.01.2022 Sharing the story behind your brand is a great way for people to get to know, like and trust your brand better

17.01.2022 #tbt Do you remember when credit card payments were made on the old click clack machine? Times before internet and mobile phones? ... A moment in time when customers could only touch, feel, smell, talk to the merchant and listen to the story of the product? Before people jumped towards the screen to see who, how much and assess on that basis if they choose to invest their money? Here's a pic of our market stall from 1998, where people would hover around and listen to the stories of the beads, where they came from, who wore them, how old they were... and they had never seen anything like it. Stories around the product are still so important and now we have Social media to use to get our stories out there. I'm nostalgic about those times - however excited about the new tech and tools we now have available at our fingertips. Yes it can be overwhelming. It IS overwhelming. Learning to use these tools however is a step in the right direction to boost your business and bring your business into the 2020's to get your product and your story out there. See more

One of my goals is to work from wherever I am, and this March I'll be driving over to Adelaide and dropping into as many Unique Boutiques as I can find along the way.... I love Unique Boutiques, the stories behind them, the ranges they carry, how they display their products... it's so creative. I'll also be handing out my coaching flyers - if you know of a place I should pop into - Let me know!!!

03.01.2022 Meet my silver supplier Manesh who is in Bundi, Rajasthan. I met Manesh 11 years ago when travelling through there with my family and since then we’ve been friends on Facebook. In my Boutique Vitamin Bead, we love antique beads and jewellery so I did a small test run with Manesh and asked him to come live with me on Facebook. How exciting is this to beable to meet and talk with Manesh and help his business out! I’m passionate about working with technology to transform retail in the 2020’s and this is a step towards that!
