20.01.2022 Does your Google Ads platform look like picture 1, or picture 2? If you said number 1- RUN. :o This is Google Ads EXPRESS and it is basically the demo version. You are missing out on so many good features that will make the traffic coming through to your website FAR more targeted. You may also be wasting a tonne of money without realising. Because Google make it look good. When really, its not. . .... Here are just some of the reasons to get the full version ASAP: . . -Express Uses Broad Match Keywords Most of the accounts I look over have a high impression rate, and a low click rate. These Broad Match Keywords are one of the biggest reasons why. To explain it simply, each individual word can trigger your ad. So imagine you are a florist in Sydney. So you set your express keywords as Florist in Sydney. The word florist the word in and the word Sydney can all trigger your ad. So if someone searches how to become a florist your ad can pop up. If they click it- it costs you money. If someone searches Holiday homes in Sydney, again- you can pay for that! . . -No Option for Negative Keywords This is another reason why the impressions are usually so high. People will see your ad when they are looking for something totally different. With the full version of Google Ads you can set Negative Keywords to block out searches you dont want. As an example. If you sell womens only swimwear. You can have a negative keyword of mens so when someone searches mens swimwear your ad will not pop up and you will not have to pay for it. . . If you do decide to give the full version a crack. Be careful. Google call centres are paid to upsell and tell you things that are not in your best interest. Ive even had some lie to me when they didnt realise I was a Google Ads Manager! Theres a reason they make $100 million a DAY from ads. Do not blindly follow the Google prompts either, you need to spend some time doing research and finding a digital strategy that works for you and your business. It is NOT a set and forget platform. If you dont have the time or desire to learn, hire a Google Ads expert. Do your research here too! Make sure they are a qualified Google Partner and have sat all the exams. Also be sure to check out their reviews on Facebook as well as Google My Business. And if you cant find any- thats a red flag in my eyes. . . Google Ads has been the top performer for our clients for years for selling and ROI. It can work wonders when managed correctly!! Let me know if you have any questions :)

19.01.2022 ***Google Ads tips & cheap Pizza hack*** Another great example using Google Ads! (Formerly Google AdWords) I typed in "Pizza Hut" and a voucher for 30% off Dominos popped up. This means Dominos is bidding on the keyword "Pizza Hut" in their Google Ads account. Is this a copyright issue? No. You are legally allowed to use your competitors names in the back end of your Google Ads account.... This is the reason why you may need to bid on your own company name in your keywords, otherwise, your competitors may outrank you! You can also target your COMPETITOR TRAFFIC. So in this case, if I went to the Pizza Hut website, it is possible to be retargeted with Dominos display ads if this has been set up correctly! The higher-performing your Google Ads account is, the higher it ranks. Google rewards the top performing Google Ads accounts by showing their ad more often. Is your Google Ads account performing at its very best? Google Ads can work for almost any business when set up well and MAINTAINED. It is NOT a set and forget platform!
