25.01.2022 GOD I LOVE MY KIDS, MY FOSTER DAUGHTER WROTE THIS AS A SUBMISSION TO WIN ME A HEATED JACKET FOR MOTHER'S DAY .. My foster mum Michelle Booth deserves to win this jacket, whilst many airlines where down over the COVID lockdowns & many people wanting to transport pets she made it happen across the entire country, she used her personal money to organise a private charter plane out of Tasmania to get pets to their owners or new owners anywhere in Australia she was & still is wo...rking around the clock from one end of Tasmania to the other being the only one in her business in Tasmania doing so some times she’s doing 10 hours of driving a day oftern awake at 2am and on the road oftern at an airport ready for the first daily flight which I know will be extremely cold for her come winter. She’s always putting the needs of others first especially with her business and making sure everything happens as a sole business owner in fact her business is open 365 days per year & almost at 24/7 per day as sometimes she only sleeping for a few hours just so she has enough rest for driving then she back at it making sure people have there pets to them safely & within a suitable timeframe for the owners See more

25.01.2022 For those entering Tasmania with pets who now have to be hotel isolated for a fortnight. You may be under the impression that you have no alternatives for where your pets are boarded or who transports them to their temporary boarding facilities. This is not true, you can by prior arrangement elect for ADSTAFF PET TRAVEL to collect from the Spirit of Tasmania or from Qantas Freight Launceston or Devonport (Hobart has ceased flights that permit pets to travel).... I have arrangements with approved boarding facilities in both Launceston and Devonport areas and will make all arrangements in consultation with owners. We can also transport to Hobart when mandatory isolation period has been completed. PLEASE SHARE FAR AND WIDE SO THAT ALL KNOW THAT THE RSPCA IS NOT THE ONLY OPTION AVAILABLE!!

24.01.2022 UPDATE ON CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE WITH VIRGIN AIRLINES: As at the 19th October 2020 Virgin Australia will no longer accept wire or mesh crates for the transporta...tion of live animals. This is in line with the IATA Live Animal Regulations where containers made entirely of welded mesh or wire mesh are not suitable for air transport. All animals 12 years and older will be required to have a current Vet issued fit to fly certificate. We thank you for your assistance and cooperation in relation to this change.

23.01.2022 This is going on everywhere at the moment, even Tasmania. Just over two weeks ago we had a situation where a young person from South Australia had bought two pu...ppies from an Ulverstone breeder, when the day came for me to collect them in preparation for their flight, I couldn't gain a response. Thankfully the local Police were willing to get involved and retrieved them on Sunday evening, we collected them from A K9 Complex Boarding Kennels, who assisted us, on Monday evening. I am pleased to report that these puppies were flown to Melbourne yesterday, and arrived with their rightful homes this afternoon ! ADSTAFF PET TRAVEL WILL GO THE EXTRA MILE !!!

21.01.2022 Although not requested very often, Virgin Airlines have some good news for our clients: Over the past 12 months the Aviation industry has seen a large number of... changes. During this period we unfortunately had to close our Kununurra Cargo port (KNX). We have been working very hard to have these facilities in Kununurra available to us again... This location will be accepting inbound pets. At this stage we will not have the ability to move freight out of Kununurra.... EDITED TO SUMMARISE: We will therefore require any bookings going to Kununarra to either purchase crates, or supply their own.

Therefore, if you wish to transport any of these breeds in the near future please contact your regular transporter so that you can make this happen !

15.01.2022 ADSTAFF PET TRAVEL wish to advise that arrangements have been secured for a service on the Spirit of Tasmania for those breeders / exhibitors having difficulty with the current airline bans on certain breeds. We will be crossing on the evening of 25th February and returning on the 29th. Spirit of Tasmania advised earlier today, that outside of these dates that there is NO further availability of ventilated deck space from Tasmania until JUNE ..... I know blew me away too !!!!... I will need to gain approval from our vet for the final number of pets we have booked on as of Monday evening, early on Tuesday for the Devonport to Melbourne crossing. We obviously have a little more time in which to book those pets coming back to Tasmania. Although please ensure that any dogs on this crossing are wormed for Hydatids and proof of worming is able to be supplied on my collection. Anyone who has expressed interest, expect finalization and follow up messages from me this evening. 12.01.2022 The service we commenced as a charter service in 2020 will continue in 2021. Reopening on 4th January, a daily service from Cambridge to Essendon and return !!! Pets fly in the cabin with the Pilot, with transport from the North of the state available !

08.01.2022 Due to some misinformation contained within a recent news item in regards to pet transport in and out of Tasmania from Melbourne, I find it necessary to inform ...the public of the facts. Presently there is a service in and out of Tasmania whereby pets can fly within the cabin that operates five days a week (weekdays). This service runs in and out of Cambridge Airport, and can take all Brachycephalic and large breeds that can not normally be transported on a commercial flight (over 65kg). This is supported by our statewide pet taxi service for those from the North and North West (we do also offer a statewide pet taxi service throughout Victoria, and Brisbane and surrounds). This service that was bourne from the pet charter flights that ADSTAFF PET TRAVEL ran during the height of COVID-19, whereby we approached the airline to run a regular service to assist those within our state. In addition to this service, Virgin Airlines (3 daily flights from Hobart) and Qantas (2 daily flights from Hobart and Launceston) do run regular daily services in and out of the state. Virgin also offers direct flights to Sydney and Brisbane. Therefore the hysteria that has been caused in the last few days has been completely unnecessary.

08.01.2022 In light of the fact that there are so many pet scammers around, taking advantage of the Covid-19 situation, ADSTAFF PET TRAVEL have made the decision to offer a service throughout Tasmania (this may ultimately extend to other states, dependent on demand) whereby we can go out and meet your pet prior to purchase to ensure that there is actually a pet available for you to purchase. This will be offered as a statewide, flat fee service.

06.01.2022 ADSTAFF PET TRAVEL offer a National Service, utilising Virgin Airlines where possible, and with a recent invitation for an account with Qantas Airlines which we... are working through ! We offer flights to and from Tasmania, where we are based ! Additional services include a pet taxi service throughout Victoria, and in conjunction with GISBORNE BOARDING KENNELS & CATTERY we are able to offer a service to Albury. We work with Erin Filsell, Tiffany Ninnes, Michaela Bugges & Alison Norman into the other states where flights are not possible or available !

The vehicle used is full air-conditioned. Given the above schedule, I would need to be leaving Tasmania on 27th February, and returning on 7th March, pending expression of interest. I have calculated that I require 6 pets to make this trip worthwhile, and at that capacity would be at a cost of $200 per pet, multiples (ie. litter mates) would attract a discount as they could travel together.

02.01.2022 Although we are pretty much at full capacity for the Hobart - Essendon leg of our charter flight that has been hired specifically for pets to fly in & out of Hobart tomorrow, we do have limited availability still for Essendon - Hobart and because we are a 24/7 business unlike some others it is never too late to get on board !!!! As always being THE LOCAL Domestic Pet Transporter we are here to support Tasmanians ! We thank Liam, Shannon & Grace from Par Avion for literally getting us off the ground, and for taking the time to take the seats out of the aircraft to allow full capacity !
