17.01.2022 Well we know it’s been a little while since we last posted, 8mths in fact! our 2018/2019 season finished well and we did take an enjoyable break in July. The farm had snow in August and its felt cold right up until now however spring has come with loads of blossom and we have been busy preparing the soil, getting beds ready and planting. Our 2019/20 season is well underway and harvest is not far away now, just a little more sunshine However we can’t complain about the rain everything is still so green. just a few pics of bits and bobs.

05.01.2022 The winter solstice brings our harvest season for 2017/2018 to a close. It’s been a terrific season. A big thank you to all our customers and those of you who take interest in our development as a small scale farm. We have more winter projects planned so stay tuned. It’s now time to let the soil have a well earned rest. We are already excited about the 2018/2019 season and look forward to providing you with tasty, affordable, organically grown produce. 04.01.2022 It’s been a flat out couple of weeks, blueberries, boysenberries and gherkin picking daily. Lots of restaurant deliveries and customer orders. Our carrots have made it to a number of Christmas tables this year. Much more still to come, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, chilies and mulberries. Wishing everyone a happy safe Christmas and new year. Thanks for everyone’s support!

04.01.2022 Starting to look like a market garden! Looking good for our harvest season. Harvested garlic this week and currently supplying rhubarb, radish, beets, edible flowers and we have good growth on gherkins and carrots!

03.01.2022 2 months on since our last post we have been dawn till dusk busy picking, washing, packing, delivering, watering, planting, weeding, pickling, suppling our customers with beautiful , organically grown vegetables and fruits.

02.01.2022 The last few days of glorious weather have made working outside such a pleasure. It is helping to prolong our summer harvest and nurture the lush growth of the autumn veg. Enjoying every moment.

01.01.2022 It was a fabulous open day for us yesterday, we want to say thank you to all of you who came to visit! A big thank you to Jill and Joy for organising the event and to our two French helpx Estelle and Anais for collecting tickets and helping out on our farmgate stall! We only have a few pictures (by Anais) as both Edward and I were so entrenched answering questions, serving lunch, picking fresh vegetables for the stall and simply involved in conversation with people who came from far and wide we forgot to take photos! ( if anyone has any please send )

01.01.2022 Garlic harvest! Some years are better than others and this year these are now left to cure and will be ready for Christmas. We will be at the daylesford Sunday market tomorrow with kale, beetroot, radish, kohlrabi, lettuce and the last of our lupins only red and yellow left. Come early

01.01.2022 As we reach the spring equinox, the soil temperature is warming, which means we can start planting! We have tried to get a head start by planting lettuce in our greenhouse so we can get salad mix to our customers earlier this year! Onions are in all 3000 of them, carrots and beets in next! We have moved our rhubarb bed, started repotting our tomato’s and are waiting on the rest of our seedlings to be mature enough to plant or sell! The garlic have been weeded, the ground dug ...and turned over with compost and organic fertiliser! The blueberries have been weeded and pruned and the dead raspberry canes cut! There’s a lot to do to get ready for harvest time, however as they say enjoy the fruits of your labor which we can all look forward too in summer! We are a little behind on our shed project which we had hoped to finish in our down season, however the shed is at lock up now at least, the ideas are in place, just need more man hours to get the jobs done! More pics and progress to come! See more
