25.01.2022 Many people are confused about what they should do if they think they have Coronavirus. The symptoms of coronavirus are fever, shortness of breath, and flu-like symptoms such as coughing, sore throat and fatigue. If you think you have coronavirus:... Call the Coronavirus Health Information Line on 1800 020 080. This hotline operates 24 hours a day. Seek medical help from your GP or hospital. Call ahead of time to book an appointment. You will be asked to take precautions when you attend for treatment, and you will be given instructions to follow. If you have a mask, wear it to protect others. Stay at least 1.5 metres away from other people. Cover your coughs or sneezes with your elbow. Tell the doctor about your symptoms, travel history and any recent contact with someone who has COVID-19.
23.01.2022 If you can’t afford to donate just change a couple of grocery items, KI eggs, Adelaide Hills milk and cheese, there’s dozens of SA options. If we all change just one or two things, imagine the difference we can make!

Domestic abuse and violence is often characterised by physical violence however physical violence is often preceded by mental, psychological, emotional abuse. This type of abuse is not as well known as physical violence yet it is often the non-physical scars that take the longest to heal. Victims often take a while themselves to realise the abuse and once they do, find the reaction to their exp...erience is very different to those who experienced physical violence. Let's start a conversation about #domesticsilence

20.01.2022 We have all been happily munching on strawberries thanks to the strawberry fairy. Very important for everyone to cut them up, not cut them out to support our strawberry growers. #smashastrawb

13.01.2022 Yesterday evening, the Friends of the Library held a children’s reading evening with a Harry Potter twist. In the Library, the Premier, the Hon. Steven Marshall... read ‘The Library Lion’ to an appreciative crowd of roars and the Leader of the Opposition, Peter Malinauskas, read The Very Cranky Bear also replete with complimentary range of animal sounds. The Friends would also like to thank the President of the Legislative Council, the Hon. Andrew McLachlan MLC, who donned wig and robe, to guide the children through the Chamber.
