In the 90s Instagram didn't exist - people had to really hone in on their states. Socials are so important and connecting, educational and inspirational there is no doubt about it BUT watch how much time you g...ive - make sure you are living your own life! Not watching others and allowing days pass by without connecting properly with what is unfolding in yours. As a therapist it's one of the leading causes of the increase anxiety out there! Hold strong to your day! I'm going to share some stories on this that I kept from when I was in my early 20s - with so much illusion out there it's more important than ever to ground in your own reality and values -whats important for you, your family, friends and cultivate these immediate relationships. 09.01.2022 HEARTDANCERS CHARITY I am loving sharing Jazz Dance and Dance Movement Theraoy as part of my DMT training with Heartdancer’s - Rhythm is Life program. Coming from New Zealand with it's rich Maori culture - I still remember learning the songs as a young child, the arts and language, the rituals and celebrations - to me as a child it was the magic in life and as an adult I still feel the same way, deeply value honouring all cultures in my heart and learning, understanding th...ese cultures. For that's really what brings us together as one right! I had a deep appreciation for what this gave to me, how connected I felt with the land and its history, especially the people - a respect was born from the age of 5 within me. When I came to Australia I felt this longing to connect with the land here and its people, culture and history. As you can see through my feeds it's a strong value of mine and how energising and enriching it is when we do take time to connect. Working with Heartdancers Charity is what Australia and it's people have been longing for - that's why I'm so passionate about sharing their vision.
