25.01.2022 WE WILL SCRAP THE DEMOLITION OF SYDNEY FOOTBALL STADIUM The NSW Government is currently rushing through the unpopular decision to knockdown Sydney Football Stadium prior to the State election in March to ensure over $1 Billion is spent having to build a new one. It's part of the largest rort of public money into private hands in NSW's history. The Sydney Football Stadium does not need to be replaced. And not at a cost of over $1 Billion. Especially when the proposed new one w...ill have the same capacity as the old one! After March 23 Advance will stop the demolition (if it's not too late), and instead do a complete refurbishment of the current one at a fraction of the cost of building a new one.

23.01.2022 FIX SYDNEY’S FREE ROADS - DON'T JUST BUILD TOLL ROADS Motorists in NSW always seem to be getting a rough ride (excuse the pun). The only new roads or upgrades are to toll roads, with the vast majority of Sydney's free roads not having been upgraded in over 30 years yet more and more cars are put on our roads every day. The government are happy to take our money for tolls, vehicle registration, stamp duty, import duties, fines, petrol excise and keep issuing new registration...s, yet at the same time restrict the number of carparks, slug levies, narrow roads and use the money we have already paid to only build toll roads, we then have to pay again to use. It doesn't seem right. And motorists are forced to spend hours in their cars each day just to go about their every day business. Currently, if one motorist runs out of petrol in morning peak hour on Sydney Harbour Bridge, thousands of motorists are late getting to work! We need to find a solution that doesn’t involve forcing people onto toll roads or public transport. Advance believe people have a right to affordable, safe, clean and speedy private transport, and we believe we can do something about it and fix Sydney's atrocious traffic congestion and safety issues.
21.01.2022 A MOVE TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES Fossil fuel burning vehicles cause pollution, produce greenhouse gas, and result in a massive amount of capital leaving Australia each year and going to oil producing countries. All of these issues would be reduced if we used electric vehicles instead. Advance is fully committed to promoting the use of electric vehicles though incentives such as reduced registration costs and duties.
