20.01.2022 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update 9/4/20 To all our patients, referrers and payers in these challenging times An update that Advance Healthcare remains open for face to face treatment of people with musculoskeletal problems including multi-disciplinary pain management. We are reviewing on a daily basis, updates from Australian Government Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), the Commonwealth's Chief Medical Officer and Victoria's Chief Health Officer. All our st...aff are certified under the Department of Health COVID-19 infection control training. This information enables us to minimise the risk to our patients and staff by strict clinic hygiene standards (eg hand washing and surface sanitising between each patient) including eliminating physical contact with other patients and clinic staff. No staff member or patient with any symptoms of cold/flu or having recently returned from overseas is allowed to enter the clinic. We also offer fully functional telehealth services using PhysiTrack (for individual) and GoToMeeting (for group sessions) platforms to provide a secure and professional telehealth medium. These services are available for metro and regional patients for pain physician, physiotherapy and psychology services funded by: Private paying patients (private health cover rebates apply) Medicare funded patients with a care plan (bulk billed) including Mental Health Care Plans for psychology All WorkSafe/TAC patients including multi-disciplinary pain management programs On referral for telehealth services (medical, physiotherapy or psychology) our dedicated administrative team will contact the patient to set up telehealth on their mobile phone or computer browser. Then they receive an emailed link before the appointment which they simply click on to commence the session. Our patients have a need to continue their treatment in the pursuit of reduced pain and a better quality of life; despite the barriers COVID-19 and lockdown create. Advance Healthcare is committed to providing a safe environment that enables this to happen. You can keep up to date with our services with relation to COVID-19 on this website page which is updated whenever a change occurs. All the best and take care AProf Jon Ford (Clinical and Managing Director)
