21.01.2022 Really proud of 2 of my students who both had separate incidents in recent weeks. Each incident was different in context, but the end result was both came out unhurt, and Im happy to say they gave credit to their training in the way they handled the situations. Awesome lads, now get back to training....

14.01.2022 Just got home from a quick break in Auckland with my beautiful wife Katrina. Had the pleasure of helping my bro Phil Thompson of Protect Self Defence NZ at one of his seminars. Taught to over 70 black belt Kyokushin team members. A brilliant day had by all, I was really impressed by the open mindedness and energy of some awesome martial artists. Thanks to all those that attended for allowing me to assist at your seminar, I met some great people. Anyone who lives or visits NZ should seriously consider looking up Phil and Athena Thompson, it will be well worth your time to train with people of this caliber.
13.01.2022 Just got home from 4 days in Auckland. Got to train with some brilliant people, had the pleasure of assisting Jim teach a session to the awesome people at Protect Self Defence NZ, as well as being apart of a Women's Safe for Life Seminar run by Phil and Athena, who are in my opinion the best I have ever seen in this area, plus they are amazing human beings. I am proud to say our Women's seminars' are inspired by and based on the material and expert knowledge of Phil and Athena, undoubtedly life changing for anyone that attends these sessions. Massive thanks to Phil and Athena Thompson of Protect Self Defence NZ, and to Jim Armstrong of Raw Combatives in Melbourne. I learnt so much from you all in such a short time. Stay tuned for future seminars being planned for NZ and Oz, cant wait!
13.01.2022 Awesome training session tonight with Ben and Travis, despite the shitty rain and cold weather we still managed to do some solid cardio work and finished off with some boxing. Great to see the constant progress in our team.
