25.01.2022 For those who didn’t know African tulip trees are toxic to native bees and other insects. Finally some action is being taken on these environmental pests. We have been removing these for years and years, with only recent studies properly showing the effects they have on native bees and other pollinating indigenous insects. GC Council is to removal the public trees only, and I hope BCC and other councils will follow suit with removing them. However it’s up to us to do our bit in removing all the privately owned trees. If you have one of these or suspect you do give us a call, we can remove it and recommend a suitable replacement species. Call on 0420985895
