Cosmelan is a professional depigmentation method which has an intensive corrective effect on skin hyperpigmentation whilst regulating the overproduction of melanin in the melanocytes, inhibiting, and controlling the appearance of new dark spots.... It can be used for various types of pigmentation including melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, solar and senile lentigo or ephelides (freckles). It is suitable for all skin types to lift pigmentation, brighten the skin, control sebaceous oil and increase luminosity. How many treatments are needed? Cosmelan is a one-off salon treatment but requires 6 months of at home skin care, all products are included in the cost. What is involved? Is there downtime? A mask is applied at our clinic and remains on your face for 8-12 hours depending on your Fitzpatrick colour.
