We have a range of systems available that can gather sensor data from up to 24 detection points. This years competition sees teams battle it out over 3 days of intense simulated training to showcase and hone their skills. 13.01.2022 Running until mid-September Exercise KAKADU launched in Darwin this week and will see the navies from 27 countries train off the Top End coast. Running since 1993 KAKADU is a biannual joint exercise taking place both ashore and at sea and aims to develop capabilities between nations in the maritime and air domains while also providing training opportunities for maritime security and surveillance. For us at AIS it means busy times! With an extra 23 ships in the harbour we’re flat servicing breathing apparatus, escape sets, gas detection systems and heights gear We wish all service personnel involved the best of luck during their time in the Top End.
