21.01.2022 Advanced Physio Solutions- Moonta - Yorke Peninsula SA Full-Time Physiotherapist position now available: Minimum $65k (new graduate) Possibility for rent assistance... Ongoing training both internally and courses provided externally Access to a state of the art Pilates studio Varied and flexible workload We are looking to use COVID-19 to our advantage. Our lighter than usual patient caseload will give us the time required to help develop a recently graduated Physiotherapist to become a part of our team. We already have an elite team of Physiotherapists, Massage therapist, Pilates Instructors and a Personal Trainer and are looking to hit the ground running again post Corona. We are all relatively young, social and very passionate about what we do in our respective professions and looking for a physio who is like minded. Our home base is in a recently renovated two storey historic building in the heart of vibrant Moonta that has to be seen to be believed. Our Physiotherapists also consult from Ardrossan and have an excellent reputation across Yorke Peninsula. Moving to the Yorke Peninsula is a lifestyle choice. We try to make our work environment as enjoyable as possible and like to socialise regularly in our amazing community. We have manipulated our working week to allow for early finish times and some later starts to suit largely our employees sporting commitments. We are all personally involved in sport on the Peninsula in one way or another. Because of our reputation, we tend to get a lot of the younger fitter sporting population in the area coming through our doors. We all love Pilates and a love for Pilates would be an excellent pre requisite which we can teach you to incorporate into your treatment style. Where appropriate, our approach is very much exercise based here at Advanced Physio Solutions. Our caseload could not be more varied, every day is different and working from different locations also keeps things fresh. Dry Needling and Pilates training will be provided externally along with ongoing in house training to ensure you are confident in these areas. We have built a great name for ourselves on the Yorke Peninsula in recent years and are looking to bring someone on board that exemplifies what we are about and who will continue to deliver a high standard of Physiotherapy in the area. 18.01.2022 Meet EMMA FLETCHER our new Physio. Emma previously trained in classical ballet as both a performer and teacher. Throughout her training she has gained her registered teachers status (RAD:RTS) through the Royal Academy of Dance, worked as a tutor for the Academy’s teacher training program and was accepted to study at the Hungarian Dance Academy in Budapest. Having decided that her passion lies in medicine and science related to injury prevention and health management in dance... she returned from Europe to pursue a career in Physiotherapy. Graduating from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) Emma has since developed a keen interest in Paediatric care, women’s health, rheumatology, and chronic pain. She has also completed a Diploma in Polestar Pilates (rehabilitation) and now mentors on the teacher training program. And this is how Nick and I planted the seed to join our team here on Yorke Peninsula. For us, Emma caught our attention early on in our Polestar course. She has a soft but direct touch, her ability to explain pain, correct movement patterns and just genuine care with patients shines through. We cannot wait to open up more classes to cater specifically to Emma’s strengths and her knowledge (eg pre and post natal) and also to have another female on the team.

15.01.2022 Wishing Yorke Peninsula’s favourite Physio all the best for his A grade Grand Final tomorrow with Sacred Heart Old Collegians Football Club. He will play in Adelaides Division 2, A grade Grand Final against Tee Tree Gully at Norwood Oval. Hopefully he can hold the cup up this high again tomorrow! Good luck to our boy Tyler Kelly

09.01.2022 Now that I have your attention Our all equipment classes which were scheduled to start as the Corona hit will be back on the scheduled in October (pending equipment arrival) At this stage we are looking at 10 am Thursday Mornings in the downstairs studio and adding an extra 9am reformer class (both classes with Elly) Thursday Morning 9am and 10 am reformer with Kara will head upstairs to the new studio. Please let us know your interest in our all equipment classes.

04.01.2022 Physiotherapy is considered an essential service and we thankfully do not fall under the same category as gyms. We will continue to keep up our cleaning schedule as we always have. As you all know things can change day to day and we will keep you updated but as it stands all appointments, including group physio will remain unaffected and we can’t wait to see you!!! Can I also just say that we are thinking of all of our mates who have businesses that have been affected by the ...sudden change in restrictions. We have all lost enough sleep trying to keep our businesses alive this year and it seems the nightmare is starting again.
