Save Jobs & Environment The SA public can confidently deposit e-waste at ART to be recycled responsibly and avoid harmful waste being deposited into landfill this is an aim of the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme (NTCRS). The South Australian public has embraced the NTCRS which was developed, in a considered way, to address critical issues involved with e-waste. The Federal Government has revised the scheme but it is insufficient to meet the amount... of e-waste that the general public wants to recycle, putting not only our environment but also South Australian jobs at risk. I, along with other major depots, will have to shut down the NTCRS because we exceed the Federal Government quota for recycling. South Australians will no longer be able to recycle their e-waste responsibly and will return to illegally dumping into landfill in South Australia or the e-waste being sent off shore. What will people do with TVs, computers and other unwanted e-waste items? Tell Federal Minister Hunt that we DO want to responsibly recycle and we DO NOT want to lose any more South Australian jobs. 04.01.2022 We at ART thank you for your dedication to recycling and to help save our environment. We have been unable to obtain funding for the disposal of E-waste. This has left us with no other option than to charge a fee for T.V's and Monitors.

03.01.2022 We have good news ART can once again take televisions, monitors, and computer equipment free of charge. If the depot is closed it is o.k. to leave items by the gate.
