12.01.2022 Dear drivers, if the eftpos is not excepting cards please follow the steps below: Here is the step-by-step process of re-initialising / re-connecting a TaxiPOS Terminal: When the terminal is either logged on or logged off, press the following keys: Menu... 4. Configuration 2. EFTPOS 2. EFTPOS Config 5. Service Menu Enter the following password: 767833 followed by 2. Security press 2 again, the terminal will print out the sub-totals report and then restarts. When the terminal stops and the message at the bottom of the screen is Clear to change, press The terminal will display TERMINAL ID FOR TMS [8-digit TID] press Terminal will re-initialise showing Processing please wait whilst it does so. Terminal will complete the update, print out a Update Successful message and return to the EFTPOS config menu Press to return to the TaxiPOS ready screen. It should now work.
